Alright, let's talk about exploring Japan in Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. It's a game of two halves when it comes to where you'll be spending your time. You've got the super modern, bustling Kamurocho in Tokyo, and then the more laid-back, rural vibe of Jingaicho in Onomichi. Basically, you'll be hitting the streets, checking out the sights, grabbing some grub, playing some games, and, of course, getting into plenty of fights.

Every city area has a map you can pull up by hitting the Touch Pad or View Button. It's super handy for seeing where everything is – streets, building entrances, and even taxi stands for quick travel. Keep an eye out for these color-coded icons:

• Orange (Shopping Cart Icon): These are your shops. Head up to the counter to buy all sorts of useful stuff, from food to gear and other odds and ends.

• Yellow (Knife and Fork Icon): These are restaurants. Chat with the clerk, pick your meal (you can even order a few things at once!), and you'll chow down right there, getting some sweet buffs.

• Purple (Game Controller Icon): These are for Minigames. Go on in and talk to the staff to start playing, or sometimes you can just walk up to the game itself and jump in.

The map does more than just show you icons, though. If you press Triangle, you'll get a full list of all the locations, and you can use the X button to drop pins on the map to mark anything you want to remember for later. Super useful for planning your next move!
