(top option) and they'll explain their predicament. Select "All right. I'll do it." (top option) and they tell you to meet them at Tenkaichi Street, just east of the destroyed Poppo. Select "Yeah, let's do it." (top option) and they'll take you to Third Park to jump down from the building you're in and to demolish a crowd of zombies with your gatling gun. They'll tell you the next scene is set in a sewer, so get ready for that.

(bottom option) and you just need to shoot all the zombies in the first room. You'll go back to the director and he'll say something is missing from the film and have a revelation: the movie needs a heroine. Suddenly, you'll hear a woman screaming out of nowhere so head up to the surface and you'll see a group of zombies and a few Meatheads surrounding an actress named Makiko Takahashi who's standing on the tank. As soon as you start to fight, Makiko will ask for Okamura to stop filming but he says it's either film or no rescue. As a compromise, Okamura asks Ryuji to just kill the smaller zombies so do that while he argues with Makiko. After they come to an agreement, you're free to kill the Meatheads. Once everything is dead, Makiko will thank Ryuji and the substory will come to a close. You'll get some more dialog after with some back and forth between the gang and you'll get a Seal of the Dragon as a reward. When you head out, you'll talk to Junya and he'll ask you for help in getting some more equipment. Out of nowhere, Gary will pop up and will take Junya under his wing to train. (bottom option) and the two of you will head to the Quarantine Zone to save Koichi. Kill all the zombies in front of you as Junya sits back like a lazyass. On the way there, Junya laments about his cowardice and guilt toward losing Koichi since he was a newbie and he tried to take him under his wing despite not being a good host. Ryuji empowers him by saying he learned what his weakness was and it's important to always keep it in mind and work to beat it.
