Majima's substories become available the moment you can free-roam in chapter 2.

Chapter 2 Substories

House Unrest Part 1

Partner Allowed

In front of the Children's Park on West Shichifuku Street, you'll see a stressed looking dude. Talk to him and he's apparently a lackey of Majima's named Higashiyama. Turns out another lackey named Nojiri went blazing into the Quarantine Zone to take out some zombies so Higashiyama heads in there after them (and you should too). As soon as you step in, you'll see Higashiyama and when talking to him, he'll ask if you're gonna go look for Nojiri. Select "Yeah, his ass's first in line." ( bottom option) and he'll sprint on his way over to Mach Bowl. At the intersection of Mach Bowl and Theater Alley, you'll see Higashiyama heading further south. Keep going in a linear path until you get to the West Taihei Blvd. Tenkaichi Street Intersection and you'll see him heading south again. Keep following him until you reach the south end of Tenkaichi Street where he'll head into the same entrance you went into as Akiyama in his chapter 2. Follow the linear path again until you reach him and he'll say Nojiri turned into a zombie, which shows up right on time. Kill the Monkey Boy and suddenly Nojiri turns up, unzombified and this first part is over.

1. Talk to the stressed guy in front of Children's Park on West Shichifuku Street.
2. Head into the Quarantine Zone.
3. Speak to Higashiyama and select "Yeah, his ass's first in line." ( bottom option).
4. Head to the intersection of Theater Alley and Mach Bowl.
5. Head to the intersection of West Taihei Blvd. and Tenkaichi Street.
6. Head to the south end of Tenkaichi Street and into the MANZOK STATION building.
7. Kill the Monkey Boy.
8. Substory end - 4,000 experience.

House Unrest Part 2

Finish House Unrest Part 1. Coming back out of the Quarantine Zone, just east of the gate you'll meat up with Higashiyama again. He tells you another one of his men, Nishimori, has gone into the Quarantine Zone and needs some assistance. Head down to the south end of Tenkaichi Street and you'll see a big burly man surrounded by zombies. He mentions something about someone named Aratani setting him up and after Majima gets his attention, he falls back and turns into a Meathead? Kill it and the zombies around it and as Majima starts to leave, Nishimori shows up and says he fell back into an open manhole. Majima chastises him for being a goofball and tells him to find his own way out. After that, Majima gets a call from Higashiyama asking about Nishimori's state and Majima asks him to look up anything on an Aratani.

1. Head just east of the gate to the Quarantine Zone on West Shichifuku Street.
2. Head to the south end of Tenkaichi Street.
3. Kill the Meathead and zombies.

House Unrest Part 3

Finish House Unrest Part 2. After saving Nishimori and walking a bit, you'll be sent an email from Higashiyama about another dude named Miyao who's a big guy and should be found in a big open space. This turns out to be true since if you head to Theater Square, you'll find he's turned into a Fattie... Head over to it and select "Fattie jackpot!" ( bottom option) and he'll bring over four of his friends, so take them all out. After that, another one will appear- oh wait, never mind it's just Miyao. Majima will chastise him as well and send him off, and a phone call from Higashiyama will put an end to the substory.

1. Walk around until you get an email.
2. Walk up to the Fattie in Theater Square.
3. Select "Fattie jackpot!" ( bottom option).
4. Kill the five Fatties.

The Zombening, Starring Majima

Just north of the Theater building in Theater Square, you'll see two dudes watching as you kill zombies. Head over to them and they'll reveal that they are making a movie and need Majima to star in it. Select "Lay it on me." ( top option) and he'll describe the film, how it failed, and how the zombie apocalypse is their second chance to make it work. Select "Sure! Why the hell not?" ( top option) and you'll be sent over to West Taihei Blvd. All you have to do is kill all of the zombies that spawn and the two will be happy. They'll tell you about the next scene involving blowing up a car and you'll finish this part of Majima's film debut.

1. Walk over to the two guys east of Theater Square.
2. Select "Lay it on me." ( top option).
3. Select "Sure! Why the hell not?" ( top option).
4. Kill the zombies.

More Zombening, Starring Majima

Finish The Zombening, Starring Majima. Just east of Mach Bowl, you'll find the two guys from before waiting for you. Head over to them and select "Hell yeah!" ( top option) to get started. They'll ask you to round up ten zombies around the closest car, and the undead will start pouring out slowly into the area. Once they're around the car, blow it up in any way you can, be it by shooting at it over and over or with a Heat Snipe. After you've done that, the director asks you to kill a massive zombie. The three of you will head to Taihei Blvd. and you'll see another Onraki Prototype, but the director will get a call with bad news: the entire studio was zombie food. He decides to keep making the movie without any restrictions and you've gotta fight the Onraki Prototype. From my experience if you used the tank during the story fight with the thing, it'll be out of shells to use. If that's the case for you too, just keep focusing fire on its chest area to reveal the weak spot. It's identical to the one in the story so it should be easier if you upgraded any of your gear. Once it's down you'll talk with the two again and for your help, they'll give you an Eye of the Dragon and head on their way.

1. Speak with the two men just east of Mach Bowl.
2. Select "Hell yeah!" ( top option).
3. Gather 10 zombies around the car.
4. Blow up the car.
5. Kill the Onraki Prototype.
6. , Eye of the Dragon.
