To Eastern Hyrule

Depart Island Palace through the cave, travel left to exit into the graveyard. Go north to the port and ride the Raft east to Eastern Hyrule.

Upon arrival in Eastern Hyrule, be aware of Tektites. Your first stop is a single tree south of the dock. Enter the action scene and defeat Girubokkus (vulnerable when their eye is open) to obtain a Treasure Bag (200 EXP).

If injured, find a Fairy by going south into a wooded area with a lake and river. Go to the southwest corner of the woods by the lake to find a hidden action scene containing a Fairy.

Head north from the woods, then east from the port to reach Nabooru Town.

In Nabooru Town, talk to townspeople. In the first house, a man mentions needing Boots to walk on water. An old woman restores magic.

In the next house, a woman in red complains of thirst. Fetch water from the fountain (press B) and talk to her again. Go to the basement to learn the Fire spell from an old man. Link shoots fireballs from his sword, which remain active only on the current screen.

Further left, another woman in red heals you. A child mentions jumping in palace holes to reach lower floors.

In the third area of town, a woman mentions seeing a man in Darunia before visiting Maze Island. Another woman warns about the River Devil (south of Nabooru), which is an obstacle.

In the last open house, speak to the Red Ache on the ceiling four times (casting Jump to reach it) to receive clues: "find Heart over ocean."

From Nabooru, follow the road north into a cave. Defeat Achemen and a Zora (use Fire magic, vulnerable to it).

Exit the cave and head north off the road, then east into the woods. Encounter Girubokkus.

At the east end of the woods, turn south to the coastline. Enter an action scene to collect Doll #3.

Cross the long bridge to Maze Island. Stay on the southernmost road to avoid traps, head to the southeast corner, then turn north.

At the end of the path, fall into an action scene. Cast Shield and go right to face an Orange Geru (fights like an Iron Knuckle, use jump slashes). Defeating it yields 150 EXP.
