    First things first, make your way to the Assassin Headquarters. This is where you'll get the lowdown on the King of Beggars' death and unlock the ability to use pistols and rifles. Plus, you'll get the next piece of the puzzle regarding who's really behind De La Serre’s assassination. Your target? A silversmith named Thomas Germain, the one who crafted the weapon used in the murder.

    Once the mission starts, don't bother with the front of the building. Instead, turn right and follow the side of the building all the way to the back. You're looking for a window in the northeast corner that you can climb into.

    You'll find yourself in an empty room. The next room over, however, is crawling with guards. Start by lockpicking the door in the empty room. Then, position yourself by the doorway, take cover, and assassinate the guard on patrol as they walk by. After that, enter the room and take down the Brute hiding behind the table. The last guard in the room, near the window, is easy pickings.

    Now, cross the hall into another room where you'll find two Brutes. These guys tend to stick together, but you can use line of sight to your advantage. Pull them over one by one using distractions and separate them enough for clean, individual kills.

    Enter the room where those two Brutes were. Turn left and you'll find another door you can lockpick. Go through it and then turn right. This path leads back into the room where the Brutes were initially located. Interact with the other door here to trigger a cutscene.

    After the cutscene, take cover by the doorway.
