Complete The Temple mission in assassins creed unity. Defeat Germain using the Sword of Eden and navigate the catacombs.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to the left tower on the nearby building and climb to the roof for a scene.
- 2Germain will remain inside and can blast you with the Sword of Eden if you are in his line of sight.
- 3Run around the outside of the tower, using Eagle Vision to see Germain's facing.
- 4Once behind Germain, rush in and use a hidden blade attack for a scene.
- 5Return to the tower you climbed and head to the roof for a leap of faith into a haycart.
- 6Backtrack to the other alarm bell to find Germain in the catacombs on the opposite side of the fortress.
- 7Avoid the guards between you and the catacombs.
- 8Make your way toward the large barn, but instead of going inside, hop on the vine-covered wall to the right of it.
- 9This will allow you to spot a Defender. Use a Berserk Blade on the Defender to cause a commotion and allow you to rush into the catacombs, losing any enemies.
- 10Navigate the linear catacombs and examine the door for another cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) with Germain.
- 11In this battle, take cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) on solid structures and use Cherry Bombs to distract Germain.
- 12When Germain turns his back, rush in and stab him. You will be knocked to the ground after each stab, so immediately run for cover or Germain will blast you with the Sword of Eden.
- 13If you stay hidden too long, Germain will use Eagle Vision to spot you and create a lightning strike on your position; move away if needed.
- 14After three stabs, a scene will occur, and you will need to run toward Germain for the final scene.
Tips
- Use Eagle Vision to track Germain's facing.
- A Berserk Blade on the Defender can create a diversion to enter the catacombs unnoticed.
- Use cover to avoid Germain's attacks from the Sword of Eden.
- Move quickly when Germain uses Eagle Vision and raises his sword.
