Paris 1898: Server Bridge

Alright, so you've just finished Sequence 03, and now you're thrown into this weird interlude called the Server Bridge. Basically, Abstergo's doing some kind of server sweep, and you need to get out of there before you get caught and desynced. It's a bit of a race against time, but don't worry, it's pretty straightforward.

You'll notice parts of the world have these red bars coming down from the sky. That's the sweep happening, and if you get caught in it, you'll desync. So, keep an eye out and avoid those areas.

Your main goal is to find the portal and jump through it. You can approach this from the ground or by sticking to the rooftops – whatever feels more comfortable for you. Once you find it, hop in, and you'll be teleported to 1898.

After you shift to 1898, head towards the Cafe Terminus on the main road. Take a left there to get into the Paris metro. Go down the stairs, and when you get to the station, cross the tracks towards the light. On the other side, you'll see a ladder; climb that to get to the next level.

The path through these tunnels is pretty linear. Just keep moving forward until you reach the train tracks. When you get there, turn right and cross over to the opposite side. Look for a pile of wood on your left – use that to grab onto some pipes and climb your way up. You'll reach the level above, so turn right and follow the path to a wooden ladder. Jump from there to a pole, then swing across to some ropes and walk left into a new tunnel.

This tunnel is also linear and will eventually lead to a cutscene where Arno falls through a grate onto the tracks with a train coming right at him. As soon as you regain control, sprint away from the train. You'll need to hold O / B to slip under and over obstacles in your path. Keep moving, and you'll trigger another scene. After that, you can leave the tunnels using the lift, which will also reveal the location of the exit.
