Learn how to calibrate and administer the Voight-Kampff test in Blade & Sorcery. Guide your suspects through the interrogation process and determine if they are human or replicant.

Alright, let's talk about the Voight-Kampff (VK) machine. This is a pretty iconic piece of tech from the Blade Runner universe, basically your tool for figuring out if someone's a human or a Replicant. McCoy uses it, and it's generally considered pretty reliable. You'll be administering this test to a few suspects.

First things first, you need to get the machine set up. The very first thing you'll do is calibrate it. Just click that red button. The machine will then automatically adjust a slider based on how the subject is reacting. You can do this calibration up to three times, but honestly, you can start asking questions after just one calibration.

Now, sometimes you might feel like the machine's calibration isn't quite right for the subject's reaction. If that happens, don't be afraid to tweak the calibration slider yourself. Move it left or right to where you think the reaction gauge should be, especially if you're hitting them with some tougher questions. How many questions you end up asking really depends on how the calibration goes for each person.

Once you've calibrated three times, or if you've already started asking questions, the calibration button and slider will lock in place, so make sure you're happy with it before then.

When it comes to actually questioning your suspect, you've got three levels of intensity to choose from: low, medium, and high. You'll see three buttons on the right side of the machine, going from low intensity on the left to high intensity on the right. The game will randomize the questions from each category, and sometimes you'll even get unique questions, particularly if you're testing a female suspect. Some of these questions are even pulled straight from the movie, which is a neat touch!
