Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night enemy guide covering Nyabon, Scythe Mite, Dullahammer Head, Buer Armor, Wolfman, Thunder Elemental, Carriage Morte, and Dantalion.

Enemy #26: Nyabon

Level: Normal 13, Hard/Nightmare 15

HP: Normal 131, Hard/Nightmare 152

XP: Normal 107, Hard/Nightmare 123

Item Drops: Resist Slash: 15, Strike: -25, Thrust: 15, Fire: -25, Ice: 0, Thunder: -25, Light: -25, Dark: 20, Poison: 0, Curse: 50, Stone: 75. Cat Ears: 6.00%. Shard: Riga Storeaema (5.00%)

Shard Location: Entrance, Dian Cecht Cathedral

Description: The Nyabon has a lot of health and has a bit of magic up its sleeve, but thankfully it doesn’t really move. Watch for it to sort of “bunny roar” in your direction. When it does so, make sure you are moving around to avoid a pillar of fire coming up under you. Whenever that’s not happening, either hit it with physical attacks or cast magic on it. Despite its large health pool, it attacks slowly, so you can likely defeat it before it can get off more than one or two attacks.

Enemy #27: Scythe Mite

Level: Normal 12, Hard/Nightmare 14

HP: Normal 38, Hard/Nightmare 44

XP: Normal 40, Hard/Nightmare 47

Item Drops: Resist Slash: 0, Strike: 0, Thrust: -50, Fire: -50, Ice: -50, Thunder: 0, Light: 0, Dark: 0, Poison: 0, Curse: 0, Stone: 50. Mithridate: 10.00%, Grotesque Shell: 6.00%, Poison: 5.00%, Vespine Stinger: 3.00%

Shard Location: Towers of Twin Dragons

Shard: Summon Insect (4.00%)

Description: The Scythe Mite is like a Carabosse without magic – more a flying obstacle than anything. It does tend to come in larger numbers and can swoop down to attack at times. It dodges attacks better as well, so make sure to draw it down before attacking it.

Enemy #28: Dullahammer Head

Level: Normal 13, Hard/Nightmare 15

HP: Normal 1, Hard/Nightmare 1

XP: Normal 39, Hard/Nightmare 45

Item Drops: Resist Slash: 0, Strike: 0, Thrust: 0, Fire: 0, Ice: 0, Thunder: 0, Light: 0, Dark: 0, Poison: 100, Curse: 0, Stone: 100. Dullahammer Helm: 5.00%

Shard Location: Dian Cecht Cathedral, Towers of Twin Dragons

Shard: Familiar: Dullahammer Head (2.00%)

Description: The Dullahammer head is an enemy that just floats across the screen for the most part. They are like Bats that move in a straight line and never stop coming. You’ll need to watch out, but as long as you are aware, they pose little threat. The worst they can do (usually) is hit you mid-jump.

Enemy #29: Buer Armor

Level: Normal 14, Hard/Nightmare 16

HP: Normal 113, Hard/Nightmare 130

XP: Normal 96, Hard/Nightmare 109

Item Drops: Resist Slash: 20, Strike: -50, Thrust: 20, Fire: 20, Ice: 0, Thunder: -25, Light: 0, Dark: 0, Poison: 0, Curse: 0, Stone: 50. Iron Breastplate: 8.00%, Steel: 8.00%, Ruby: 5.00%

Shard Location: Garden of Silence, Towers of Twin Dragons, Forbidden Underground Waterway

Shard: Summon Buer (5.00%)

Description: This is literally just a giant armor that throws Buers. Watch out for the arc of the Buers as they fly through the air, and take this out quickly before it can produce too many.

Enemy #30: Wolfman

Level: Normal 15, Hard/Nightmare 17

HP: Normal 152, Hard/Nightmare 173

XP: Normal 131, Hard/Nightmare 147

Item Drops: Resist Slash: -10, Strike: 20, Thrust: -10, Fire: -25, Ice: -25, Thunder: 0, Light: 0, Dark: 0, Poison: 0, Curse: 50, Stone: 100. Wool: 12.00%, Sinister Pelt: 12.00%, Wolf Hood: 6.00%, Lycan Claw: 8.00%

Shard Location: Tower of Twin Dragons

Shard: Beast Guardian (5.00%)

Description: The Wolfman is all claws and very little bite. If you attack from the front, you can usually get a hit or two in before it puts up its claws to defend. At that point, you want to jump up and use magic to hit it from above, drop down and hit it from the front so it maintains its defense and jump again for another attack. Doing this should chip away at its health while keeping it defending instead of attacking.

Enemy #31: Thunder Elemental

Level: Normal 14, Hard/Nightmare 16

HP: Normal 44, Hard/Nightmare 50

XP: Normal 53, Hard/Nightmare 60

Item Drops: Resist Slash: 20, Strike: 0, Thrust: 20, Fire: -25, Ice: -25, Thunder: 75, Light: 0, Dark: -50, Poison: 100, Curse: 0, Stone: 100. Emerald: 4.00%

Shard Location: Livre Ex Machina

Shard: Resist Thunder (4.00%)

Description: The Thunder Elemental is a floating crystal enemy that shoots lightning. Despite this, the greatest danger from this enemy is actually the speed at which it darts around the room. If you find yourself in a cramped space, it can be very hard to dodge this enemy as it flits around the battlefield. Using auto-targeting magic is going to be your best bet in dealing with this enemy.

Enemy #32: Carriage Morte

Level: Normal 15, Hard/Nightmare 17

HP: Normal 136, Hard/Nightmare 155

XP: Normal 116, Hard/Nightmare 130

Item Drops: Resist Slash: 0, Strike: -25, Thrust: 20, Fire: -25, Ice: 0, Thunder: 0, Light: -25, Dark: 20, Poison: 0, Curse: 100, Stone: 50. Iron: 8.00%, Oak: 4.00%

Shard Location: Livre Ex Machina, Bridge of Evil

Shard: Firearm Expertise (5.00%)

Description: The Carriage Morte is essentially the same as a Cannon Morte except tougher, more powerful, and on wheels. That last bit can make these enemies surprisingly difficult. Not only can they move back and forth, keeping them out of harm while shooting at you, they can also rock back slightly and shoot upward at an angle. Keep this in mind as you start jumping around to avoid attacks!

Enemy #33: Dantalion

Level: Normal 15, Hard/Nightmare 17

HP: Normal 63, Hard/Nightmare 71

XP: Normal 60, Hard/Nightmare 68

Item Drops: Resist Slash: 0, Strike: 0, Thrust: 0, Fire: -50, Ice: 0, Thunder: 0, Light: 0, Dark: 0, Poison: 0, Curse: 0, Stone: 50. Strange Leather: 8.00%, Tome Scrap: 6.00%

Shard Location: Forbidden Underground Waterway

Shard: Familiar: Dantalion (4.00%)

Description: The Dantalion is a floating enemy that attacks with spells. It is weak to physical attacks and resistant to magic. It moves slowly and predictably, making it relatively easy to dodge its attacks. Its primary attack is a series of homing projectiles that can be avoided by moving continuously. It also has a charge attack that can be dodged by jumping. The Dantalion can be a challenging enemy if you are not prepared, but with the right strategy, it can be defeated relatively easily.
