Learn how to perform various tasks in Crusader Kings III by activating target mode and commanding your subjects to attack or dig.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Activate target mode by pressing the Z button.
  2. 2
A line of dots will point out from the king, indicating your line of sight.
  3. 3
Target objects by moving Corobo until the line intersects with your intended target.
  4. 4
Targetable objects (e.g., enemies, holes) are denoted by a heptagon showing their health.
  5. 5
Once an object is targeted, its heptagon health gauge will start to glow.
  6. 6
Send your subjects in by pressing the A button repeatedly.
  7. 7
Subjects will attack enemies or start digging holes if able.
Tips
  • The next 5 subjects to be sent out are shown by a row of icons next to the group counter on the lower left corner of the screen (HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) - Heads-Up Display).
  • The icons represent the job classes of those five people.
  • Sort your team by individual job classes by pressing the down key on the directional pad.
  • Subjects of the same job class will be grouped together in the queue, allowing you to send multiple members of the same class at once.
  • Press the down key until the desired class is at the front of the queue.
  • This is effective for sending only soldiers to fight while keeping other classes safe.
