Walkthrough

    Start the quest by speaking to The Chancellor at the Eternal Throne.

    Head to the northwestern path in The Spine to find a door. Before entering, turn around and look left to find a Relic of Etu-Goth.

    Enter the door, follow the wall right, and destroy crates for a Boatman’s Coin.
  4. 4
    In the central part of the northern wall, use blocks to climb up and death grip across to a platform.

    Before hitting the switch, look right and shoot a crystal for a Stone of Power.

    Hit the switch and watch the scene. Drop down and climb the newly revealed blocks. Death grip across to another raised platform on the east side of the room.

    Pull the lever on this platform to make the blocks permanent. Continue through the door on the left.

    Follow the hallway and through two doors to reach the Soul Arbiter’s Maze.

    Move forward to pick up the Soul Arbiter’s Scroll.

    Return down the stairs, interact with the Mysterious book to read the maze rules, and then run up the stairs again.

    Enter the portal on the ground to begin the maze.

    Navigate the maze by following the directions from the Soul Arbiter scrolls. Each floor has two correct paths: one to a secret area with treasure, and one to the stairs for the next level.

    After finishing the 7th floor, look for a shootable Mystic Stone for Blackroot in the room at the bottom of the stairs above the portal to the 8th floor.

    Defeat the Soul Arbiter.

    After the fight, collect your rewards: Executioner’s Hooks and The Crown of the Dead.

    Go through the door on the right and down the stairs for a chest.

    Return to the arena and use the portal in the room to the north to exit the maze.

    Return to the Eternal Throne and talk to The Chancellor to complete the quest.
