After opening the door, proceed past shaking wagons. Defeat two dogs near a fountain and collect 3x Storied Warrior Soul.

To the left, climb stairs. About halfway up, roll left to avoid flaming boulders. Collect the Dregling Shield from remains.

Continue climbing. A fat official will lower a gate. Collect the Stone of Ephemeral Eyes from remains near the gate.

Go down stairs to the right of the gate. Crash through barrels to find a narrow path and soldiers. Defeat them and the next two groups.

Take the stairs down to the left (bewildered by an imperial spy). Drop onto a ledge to collect Full Moon Grass x2. Drop again to collect Unknown Hero Soul.

Crash through junk to find a split path. Turn left to collect Blue-Eye Knight Gauntlets.

Return to the ladder, climb up, and go to the end of the path to find New Moon Grass x6. Roll off the ledge to return to the area where you found the gauntlets.

Climb the stairs, defeat the archer, and proceed carefully up the next set of stairs, rolling right to avoid a molten boulder and an imperial spy.

Be cautious of more imperial spies hiding at path splits and an archer at the end of the first right path. Defeat the soldiers at the top of the stairs.

At a branching path, collect Unknown Hero Soul. Head right into a room with a red-eye knight and two soldiers. Defeat them and go up the stairs to find the Dregling merchant.

Exit the merchant's area, collect the Great Sword to your right. Drop down to the left to reach the last branching path.

Head up the stairs and through the fog to Area 2.

In Area 2, defeat the greatsword-wielding red-eye knight. Continue to find a fat official and soldiers. Lure the fat official to an open area and defeat him. Collect the Iron Key Ring.

Drop off the right of the stairs to defeat numerous soldiers. Look down from the ledge closest to the stairs to find remains; drop down and collect Storied Hero Soul.

Hop over ledges to return to the large staircase at the start of Area 2.
