Walkthrough
- 1After defeating the final Archdemon, the floor in the Nexus will shatter. Speak to the Maiden in Black to proceed to the Old One's Resting Place.
- 2Move forward, slash through the branches, and enter the fog to face the final boss.
- 3Defeat King Allant. He is described as a story boss that poses no threat.
- 4After the fight, the Maiden in Black will begin to lull the Old One back to slumber.
- 5Regain control and pick up the Soulbrandt.
- 6You now have two choices:
- Choice 1 / Good Ending: Walk away and do not harm the Maiden in Black. You will receive the Maiden in Black Demon Soul.
- Choice 2 / Bad Ending: Kill the Maiden in Black. You will receive the Soul of the Old One and the Red Eye Stone. You will obtain the Seekest soul power trophy after killing the Maiden in Black.
Regardless of your choice, the credits will roll, and you will automatically start in New Game+.
Tips
- It is strongly recommended to make a manual Cloud Save before completing the final area (e.g., W1-4) to ensure you can still increase your Soul Level in the current playthrough. The Maiden in Black will not be able to increase your Soul Level anymore until you complete W1-1 in New Game+.
- Making a Cloud Save also allows you to get the Bad Ending and its trophy first, then reload to proceed with the Good Ending for your New Game+, avoiding the need to clear the game twice.
- For your first playthrough, it is strongly recommended to choose the Good Ending to receive the Maiden in Black Demon Soul. This soul is needed in your New Game+ playthrough to purchase the Soulsucker spell from Yuria the Witch if you are aiming for all Trophies.
