W5-1: Depraved Chasm

Start by picking up Noble's Lotus x4. Turn around and climb the winding ramps. Defeat the first depraved one at the top, using your shield to block its initial attack and then striking when it's staggered. Hug the right wall to find a Renowned Hero Soul.

Smash the junk ahead and drop down. Defeat the depraved one with a flaming pole. Continue hugging the right wall until you reach a more open area with breakable junk and a ladder. Clear the enemies and break everything to get a clear line of sight to the left. Drop down onto the remains to find a Morning Star, after dealing with the fiery depraved one.

From this position, you can drop towards the wall (normal path) or in the direction you came from. Drop in the direction you came from to land near a torch and a large plank. Operate the plank by kicking it down to form a bridge to another set of remains. Here you'll find Widow's Lotus x2 and the Talisman of God.

Defeat the enemies below from a range if possible, then drop down and finish them. Head back across the plank bridge to where you started. Turn left and follow the edge to the wall. Drop down into an open section to find the Renowned Hero Soul and Crescent Moon Grass x3. Drop into a shallow hole in the center of this area to pick up Crescent Moon Grass x2. Facing the chasm, look off the far left ledge to find remains below near a torch. Drop down to collect the Ring of Magical Dullness.

Follow the hard wall opposite the torch and drop down onto a roof across from a rope bridge. Clear the enemies on the roof. Cross the rope bridge and continue up a series of spiraling ramps. Pick up the Unknown Hero Soul on these ramps. Return to the roof on the other side of the rope bridge.

On this roof, ignore the ladder. Past the ladder are some unstable boards; fall through these to ambush the group of depraved ones below.

Ahead is a foggy door to Area 2. Before entering, go to the plank along the back left edge. Stand on the edge and look down; you should see glowing remains. Step off gently (don't roll) and land near the remains. Defeat the depraved ones and pick up the Stone of Ephemeral Eyes. Hug the stone wall to the right, defeat any remaining enemies, and collect a Storied Warrior Soul and a second Storied Warrior Soul.

Ahead are giant ticks. Keep your distance as they can inflict poison when they explode on the first hit. After the first hit, they hop around; hit them again to kill them. Collect the Blessed Mace +1.

Make your way back and follow the edge of the chasm. You'll find another large vertical plank. Operate it by kicking it down to form a bridge.

Slowly cross the bridge, but do not go inside the structure immediately. There are many plague-inducing rats inside that should be dealt with carefully.
