Guide to Part 26 of Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, detailing bonecharm locations, enemy encounters, and navigation through the final mission's areas.
Alright, we're on Part 26, which is actually the final mission in Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. This one's a bit unique because there's no black market, no contracts, and not much in the way of loot, but it does pack a whopping 27 bonecharms. Just a heads-up, if you've collected most of the charms already, you might find raw whalebone instead of charms sometimes.
- 1First things first, exit the old carriage station and head towards what the game calls the "main street." It's basically a dusty, hound-filled route winding between old warehouses. Keep an eye out, as some of the buildings around here have charms hidden inside. Also, that weird glow you might see when using Foresight or Dark Vision? That's not a misplaced charm; it's further up the mountain.
- 2Bonecharm Locations:
- 01: Right when the street begins, there's a doorless building on the first floor (1F) on the left side. The charm is inside.
- 302: Head up to the third floor (3F) quarters situated above the main street tunnel.
- 403: On the right side of the street, there's a second-floor (2F) armory. You'll need to get past a crankvalve door. To get in, operate the valve, immediately use Foresight to place a marker inside the room, and then use Displace to teleport through the bars. This armory also contains extra grenades.
- 5As you continue down the road, you'll come across a cultist being harassed by two of his buddies. Unfortunately, you can't save him. Right next to him, you'll find a coded gate and an explorable warehouse.
- 6To find the code for that gate, enter the warehouse and take the stairs up to the third floor (3F). In the locker room, you'll find a ceiling duct that leads to a secluded 3F office. Look for a red rag hanging near its entrance to spot it. The code itself is randomized, so you'll have to find it in-game.
- 7Bonecharm Locations:
- 04: This charm is carried by one of the cultists who are bullying the other.
- 805: Go into the warehouse on the first floor (1F) and look for a boarded-up door on the second floor (2F). You'll need to break this door down (Void Strike works well) to get the charm inside.
- 9Beyond the coded gate, you'll enter a large courtyard patrolled by four enemies. Their patrol routes are initially separated by an old freight car. If you want to make eliminating them easier, try to take out the guy who's sitting down and the woman on the roof first, usually in that order. Since your destination is up the mountain cliffs, there are three ways to proceed:
- Mine Elevator: This is the simplest option. You'll find a mine elevator in the courtyard. According to the placard, it only works if you meet the weight limit. Just carry three bodies onto the platform to get it moving.
- 10Skybridge: This is the longer route. To get to the skybridge, enter the garage that has the crankvalve opener. You can Displace inside just before it closes, or use Foresight to place a marker first. Once inside, ascend to a conveyor room, which connects to the skybridge. Be warned, there are several more enemies to deal with along this path.
- 11Alternate Skybridge Route: This is similar to the skybridge route but uses a different entry point. In the lower courtyard, look for a freight car inside a partially shuttered garage entrance. This path also leads to the 3F conveyor room, but you'll emerge through a hatch secured with 2x4s. This route offers a few extra whalebone pieces as a bonus.
- 12If you're aiming for a no-alerts run and need help in the conveyor room, try luring a few enemies out to the stairwell. There aren't many hiding spots, except for the wall-mounted tanks in the shaded area. A well-aimed charged hagpearl shot (you can find one in the crankvalve garage) or a simple chokeout will do the trick.
- 13Important Note: The enemies in this level have improved AI for detecting bodies. They can sometimes be alerted to corpses even if you've hidden them really well. Make sure to hide bodies above their line of sight or dispose of them more effectively, like tossing them down a stairwell shaft.
- 14Bonecharm Locations:
- 06: This charm is held by a male Eyeless enemy on the 1F courtyard steps, near the elevator building.
- 1507: This charm is held by a female Eyeless enemy on the garage roof.
- 1608: This charm is held by a male Eyeless enemy in the 3F conveyor room.
- 1709: This charm is held by a female Eyeless enemy in the 3F conveyor room.
- 18Whether you took the skybridge or the elevator, you'll end up in the same spot: an empty, rundown building next to the upper mines. Crawl through the tipped-over red hopper to trigger your first encounter with the Envisioned, a formidable Void-dwelling creature. One of the nearby spectators will vanish with it, which gives you a hint about their strange abilities.
- 19Bonecharm Location:
- 10: This charm is held by a male Eyeless enemy in the area where you first encounter the Envisioned.
- 20No matter which path you take from here, you'll eventually reach one of two areas:
- Mine Track Area: This is a lower area following a mine track. There are three Eyeless enemies here, but they can be avoided.
