Discover how to open the Demon Doors in Fable II's Part 22! Learn the secrets to corruption, performing for crowds, and playing music to gain unique rewards.

Alright, let's dive into Part 22 of our Fable II adventure! This section is all about those tricky Demon Doors and some seriously cool legendary weapons. We'll cover how to get past them and what awesome loot you can snag.

Demon Door: The Corrupt One

Location: You'll find this door in Westcliff, in a misty, watery area with ruins, just before you head into the Howling Halls. Look for a short path on the left.

Request: This door is looking for someone seriously corrupt – we're talking at least 75% corrupt. Don't worry, there are a few ways to boost your evil meter:

  • Feast of Sin: Buy and consume plenty of food and alcohol. Anything that lowers your Purity will help make you more corrupt.
  • Lazy Days: Just sleeping for 7 in-game days will also lower your Purity.
  • Greedy Landlord: If you own any rental properties, crank the rent up to +100%. This makes you super corrupt and earns you a ton of evil cash!

Demon Door: The Performer

Location: Head to Wraithmarsh, near where your dog helped you escape a cage. There's a path nearby that leads to this door.

Request: This door wants an audience for its play, and guess who's the director? You! First, travel to Bowerstone Market and put on a show using your 'Fun' and 'Expressions' to gather a crowd. Once at least 10 people are following you (you might need enough Renown for this – use 'Trophy' or do some quests if you're short), fast travel back to Wraithmarsh. Go to The Drowned Farm, and instead of fighting that Banshee, just run back up to the cage area where the Demon Door is. Your gathered audience should satisfy the door.

Demon Door: The Musician

Location: In Bloodstone, stick to the right side as you enter from Wraithmarsh, and you'll spot it.

Request: This door wants to hear you play the Lute. If you don't have one, pop over to Bowerstone Market and grab one from "Bowerstone's Big Pile of Stuff." Once you've got it, return to the door. You'll need to perform a perfect 'Lute' expression. Press the expression, hold [A] until the bar turns green and the indicator is on it, then release.

Legendary Weapons: The Powerhouses

Legendary Weapons are super rare, unique items you can't buy in shops. They stand out with their special designs, descriptions, and awesome augments that give them unique powers. While some standard weapons might hit harder, these legendaries have killer enchantments.

Melee Legendary Weapons

The Maelstrom (Longsword)

Base Value: 3375
Damage: 58.0
Damage Types: Cutting
Attack Speed: Normal
Augments: Scourge (deals extra damage to lawful beings like guards and citizens).

Lore: Forged by the First Shadows, this sword is incredibly pure in its evil. Legend says it slaughtered the founders of the Temple of Shadows before disappearing, leaving this weapon behind.

How to Get It: You need to sacrifice 2000 Shadow Loyalty Points worth of people at the Temple of Shadow in Rookridge. Then, sacrifice your spouse between 12 AM and 1 AM. For the full details, check out the 'The Temple of Shadows' side quest guide.

Pro-Tip: To check the time, press [START] to open the menu. The time is in the top right corner, above the Region Map.

The Rising Sun (Cleaver)

Base Value: 4050
Damage: 61.0
Damage Types: Cutting
Attack Speed: Normal
Augments: Righteous Violence (deals extra damage to evil beings like banshees and shadows).

Lore: This cleaver belonged to Roamer, a legendary hero from a Southern Samarkand tribe who revered dawns. His fighting style involved whirling through enemies, shredding anyone who got close with The Rising Sun.
