Visit McTighe and go to the upper platform to talk to a man.

Agree to help him, then approach all doors with a yellow arrow (indicated on your minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen), which shows your surroundings) and talk to all people in this area. Specific locations include: one door in the east, a group of 3 persons in the southeast, a group of 2 persons (one with a blue "Clerk" icon above their head), one door in the south near the Relic Terminal, one door in the west, a group of 3 men in the west, a group of 2 kids running around, and a group of 2 persons near the center.

If done correctly, the man on the upper platform will stand. Talk to him to obtain l'Cie Mizu'a's Crystal.

Open your main menu (press the start button) and choose "Return to Akademeia".

A text "12 hours" appears at the lower right corner of your screen (HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)), indicating you have another free time period.

Tips

It is impossible to clear all events during a single playthrough; a second playthrough is required to clear all remaining events. Developers designed Final Fantasy Type-0 HD this way.
Completed events from a previous playthrough do not reduce your remaining time, allowing you to trigger them again while clearing new ones.
Lectures are a type of event triggered by talking to Moglin at Classroom Zero. Attending these provides stat boosts to ALL party members and are extremely important. Prioritize lectures before other events for stronger characters.
If an event is triggered by talking to a certain party member, do not select that character as your active character.
Kazusa's events at the Armory and Kazusa's Laboratory have specific time requirements (less than or equal to 6 hours left) and unlock sequentially. These can be triggered in the next free time.
Kazusa's events can be triggered with each character for different results and will be triggered at least 15 times during the entire playthrough.
You have 12 hours, allowing for a maximum of 6 events. Lectures take 4 hours (2 hours each).
The event with Machina or Rem at the Terrace requires more than 6 hours to be available and provides a better reward than the event with Tokito.
