    Start at the south edge of the Pass of Paddra. Head north to find a concealed treasure sphere with a Metal Armband.

    Go east, talk to the Researcher to get a Map of Yaschas Massif and trigger a Live Trigger.

    Collect 500 gil from a nearby treasure sphere. Drop down the cliff and head east, then north, then west into the dark area.

    Pass quickly between spotlights in the dark area to avoid enemies. If you encounter Feral Behemoths, consider running as they have 32000 HP. Defeating one yields a Behemoth Fang.

    In the dark area, collect treasures: 960 gil, 8x Mana Sliver, 8x Mana Bolt, and a quest item (optional for now).

    Continue past Chocolina's shop. Open a treasure cube for ‘Scars’ Gate Seal (enables Time Reversal in AF005 Bresha Ruins) and a treasure sphere with Gysahl Greens.

    Follow the path northeast, opening a treasure sphere with 540 gil. Turn north and find a concealed treasure sphere with a Pearl Necklace behind a stone slab.

    Talk to Noel for a Live Trigger, then talk to the Researcher girl near Chocolina's to prepare for the boss battle. Buy Wound Potions and set a SEN/SEN/SEN paradigm.

    Boss Battle: Aloeidai
    • The boss starts by casting Deshell and/or Deprotect. Use a paradigm with Cait Sith and Esuna.

    Stagger Aloeidai to deal damage.

    After the first stagger, Aloeidai shields itself. Stagger it again to remove the shield and deal full damage.

    Prepare to switch to a triple SEN paradigm (Tortoise) when Aloeidai readies a powerful attack.

    Talk to the ‘!’ soldier to clear the path.

    Go to the northeast corner of The Paddraean Archaeopolis and find a concealed treasure sphere with Gysahl Greens. Opposite this, find another treasure sphere with a Warding Talisman.

    Talk to Hope for a Live Trigger, then again to receive the Hollow Artefact, which activates the shiny gate in The Pass of Paddra.

    Talk to Hope again for another Live Trigger, then depart for the shiny gate.

    Examine the shiny gate and respond to Noel's Live Trigger to use the Hollow Artefact and unlock the AF200 Oerba timeline.
Tips
  • In dark areas, stay in the searchlight's beam to avoid enemies. If you enter the light while in combat, your Mog Clock will recover.
  • Consider running from Feral Behemoths if you are not prepared to fight them.
  • Set a SEN/SEN/SEN paradigm for the Aloeidai boss battle.
  • The quest item in the dark area can be saved for later if you wish to complete the main quest first.
