Gameplay Milestones

Trigger Finger

Obtain five Cinematic Bonus rewards by flawlessly completing Quick Time Events (QTEs) during specific boss battles. Cinematic Bonus items are awarded at the end of boss fights if QTEs are performed perfectly. The boss battles that can award these are:

  • Episode 2 - Bresha Ruins AF005 - Paradox Alpha
  • Episode 2 - Bresha Ruins AF005 - Atlas (Weakened Version)
  • Episode 3 - Sunleth Waterscape AF300 - Royal Ripeness (1st Battle)
  • Episode 4 - City of Academia AF400 - Zenobia
  • Episode 4 - Augusta Tower AF200 - Proto fal’Cie Adam (2nd Battle)

If you miss a Cinematic Bonus, you can retry the battle after pausing or use a Time Reversal to attempt it again.

Trophy: Trigger Finger — Obtained five Cinematic Bonus rewards. (30 points)

Anomalous

Witness all 8 Paradox Endings and the Secret Ending. The Paradox Endings require the use of the “Paradox Scope” Fragment Skill, obtained from the Chocobo Girl in Serendipity after completing the main story. The Secret Ending unlocks after collecting all 160 Fragments.

Trophy: Anomalous — Witnessed every possible Paradox Ending. (30 points)

Saddle-Sore

Travel 10,000 steps while riding a chocobo. To easily achieve this, find an open area with a yellow chocobo and Gysahl Greens, then tie down your controller to make the chocobo move in circles for an extended period.

Trophy: Saddle Sore — Went the distance on chocobo-back. (12 points)

Serendipitous

Earn a net total of 10,000 Casino Coins in Serendipity through Chocobo Racing and/or Slot Machines. Casino Coins cannot be bought with Gil; they must be earned. Losses subtract from the total, so saving beforehand is recommended. The Gold or Silver Chocobo, raised to max level, is recommended for racing. Slot machines offer a chance for higher payouts and are required for the “Lucky Coin” Fragment, making them a dual-purpose activity.

Trophy: Serendipitous — Amassed a fortune in casino coins. (12 points)

Choco-boco-holic

Spend a total of 100,000 Gil in the game’s shops, including Chocolina’s shops and the currency exchanger in Serendipity.

Trophy: Choco-boco-holic — Spent a fortune at shops. (14 points)

Clock Stopper

Perform 100 consecutive Preemptive Strikes. All 100 must be consecutive; the streak resets if the timer runs out or an enemy touches you. Save frequently (every 10 strikes) to reload if the streak is broken.
