Walkthrough

    Defeat the boss duo, Pacos Amethyst and Pacos Luvulite. They use AoE elemental attacks and physical stomps. Deprotect and Deshell are effective debuffs. If one is defeated, the other will begin a revival chant; defeat it quickly before the revival completes.

    After the boss fight, touch the blue Chaos Block. This changes the pattern of rotating blocks. Collect the AF500 ACADEMIA FRAGMENT - Amethyst and Luvulite Fragment (01/02) and 8000CP. The Cactuar stone here activates automatically.

    Jump towards the immovable stairs-block to the east to add it to your map, then fall down to return to the last Cactuar checkpoint.

    Jump on the block to the south. Wait for the eastern L-block to connect you with the platform to the southeast, then cross it.

    Cross the eastern block to the eastern platform and examine the Cactuar stone for a checkpoint.

    Board the stairs-block to the north when aligned, then use the L-block to the north to reach a platform to the northeast.

    Activate the Cactuar stone for a checkpoint. Use the stairs to the north and touch the red Chaos block to turn it blue.

    Use the stairs to the south, turn west, and cross the L-block when it connects to the platform to the northwest.

    Use the stairs-block to the west. Straight ahead is a platform with a treasure. Use Moogle Throw to collect 8x Mana Essence. Drop down to return to the last checkpoint.

    Hop on the platform north and dash for the stairs-blocks to the east to reach the final platform.

    Here you will find Chocolina’s shop and an auto-activated Cactuar stone. A large red Cactuar stone warps you to the start of the dungeon.
Tips
  • The bosses emit Area of Effect elemental attacks and physical stomps. Deprotect and Deshell are effective debuffs.
  • If one boss is defeated, the other will start a revival chant. Hurry to defeat it before the revival completes. The revived boss will have the same HP as the defeated one had when the chant finishes.
  • Use Moogle Throw to collect 8x Mana Essence on a difficult-to-reach platform.
  • Be aware of the rotating blocks and Chaos Blocks, which alter pathways.
