Learn about Forza Horizon 2 Steering Assist: Assisted, Normal, and Simulation modes and their associated credit bonuses.
Steering Assist dictates whether your car handles like a real vehicle or a more arcade-style one. The game's (Heads-Up Display) HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) will not interfere with your car's movement if you select Simulation steering. If you are not on Simulation, the game will attempt to correct your driving, which can paradoxically make the car harder to control.
While this mode might assist absolute beginners, players with some racing game experience should try to race in Simulation mode.
Bonuses:
- Assisted: 0% Bonus
- Normal: +5% Bonus
- Simulation: +10% Bonus
- For the best control and a credit bonus, use Simulation steering.
- Beginners may find Assisted steering easier initially, but it offers no bonus.
- Normal steering provides a small bonus and some game correction.
