Follow this walkthrough for Part 10 of Gears of War 4, guiding you through defending Jack from Wretches, using the Hammer of Dawn, and battling Seeders and Locusts.

    As Jack opens a door, defend him from Wretches coming from the end of the hall.

    After killing the first wave, Wretches will appear from a hole near Jack; defend him there.

    Once all Wretches are dead, head to the end of the hall where they first appeared and collect Cog Tag CT8.

    Proceed through the now-open door. Near the entrance, on the right, find an ammo box and the Hammer of Dawn (HoD). Replace your shotgun with the HoD.

    Stand in the corner between the first window and the door to target and kill the Seeder before going outside.

    Switch the HoD back for your previous weapon.

    Go outside and wait for the bridge to lower. Cross the bridge, shooting Locusts as they emerge, or stay on your side and use the Lancer.

    Alternatively, equip grenades, aim for the open wall on the other side of the bridge, and throw one to plug the Locust hole.

    Head right towards the giant hole the Seeder emerged from. Collect any nearby ammo.

    Follow the path around the "U" until you reach another door that Kim will open.

    Continue north until you see a Seeder below. To its right is an ammo box and the Hammer of Dawn.

    Switch your shotgun for the HoD, aim, fire twice to kill the Seeder, and switch back to your shotgun. If Wretches appear, use your shotgun or melee them (B button).

    On harder difficulties, clear Wretches with the shotgun before using the HoD on the Seeder.

    Proceed through the next door and take the stairs to the left.

    At the bottom of the stairs, be ready with your shotgun for two Wretches. Grenades are available in the hallway if needed.

    Continue down the hallway until you pass the Seeder you just killed. Head left through the next hallway.

    Enter the church and take cover behind the first row of seats. Use your Lancer, switching to the shotgun if enemies get too close. Wretches will be mixed with Grunts.

    Head up the stairs, through the door, and down the stairs to find Rojas's body.

    Facing Rojas's body, look right to find a small gap in the wall containing Cog Tag CT9.

    To the left of Rojas's body is another door that Kim will open.

    After the room with Rojas's body, head up the stairs and around the statue into a room with couches. Clear all enemies.

    Look on the ground before the exit to the outside ledge for a Hammer of Dawn. Switch your shotgun for the HoD.

    Take cover on the first short wall, target the Seeder, and kill it. Switch the HoD back for your shotgun.
Tips
  • The Hammer of Dawn is the strongest weapon damage-wise but is generally not worth carrying as it's only available at specific story progression points.
  • Always switch back to your primary weapon after using the Hammer of Dawn.
  • On Casual difficulty, teammates may eliminate most enemies, leaving only the Seeder for you.
  • If your health is low, try to take cover. The right side path is generally easier.
  • On Insane difficulty, prioritize killing Wretches before engaging Seeders.
