Complete Gears of War 4 Part 15 walkthrough, including how to find Cog Tag CT17 and tips for Insane mode.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Head forward and around the bend with your shotgun ready. Wait for the Wretch to enter, blast it, and then head outside.
  2. 2
Take cover behind the small wall to the right of the door across from where you entered. Use the Longshot to eliminate all enemies.
  3. 3
In the door to the left of this small wall, you can find grenades. After all enemies are dead, a propane tank will explode, and one or two Locusts will emerge. Shotgun them if close, or use the Longshot from a distance.
  4. 4
Proceed into this area and around the next bend.
  5. 5
Outside, take cover behind the ruined car. Press X rapidly to push the car as far as it will go.
  6. 6
Get out and roadie run (sprint using cover mechanics) towards the enemy hiding behind the small wall, using your shotgun.
  7. 7
Allow your health to regenerate on Insane mode, then head inside. Take cover beside the door and flip around to its left side. Toss a grenade inside and finish them with a shotgun.
  8. 8
Continue down the hallway and look out the window at the end. Shoot the propane tank located behind a dumpster.
  9. 9
Head outside and look up to your left to kill the last remaining Locust.
  10. 10
Proceed down the alleyway and through the door, then through the building.
  11. 11
When you reach the door you can kick open, if you have the Longshot, snipe the two Locusts outside before exiting. If not, use standard combat tactics.
  12. 12
From the left of the small wall where Dom hides, there is an archway. Go through it and duck behind the first small wall.
  13. 13
If you have the Longshot, shoot the moving targets. If not, use your pistol until it runs out of ammo, then switch to the Lancer on lower difficulties. On Hardcore or Insane, use the Lancer or available weapons.
  14. 14
After eliminating all enemies, pick up the ammo box behind you.
  15. 15
In front of the small wall you took cover behind is a dresser. Shotgun or grenade it, then shoot the propane tank behind it.
  16. 16
Move to the area where the Locusts initially appeared and head down the street, shooting propane tanks. To hit the first one, go to the darkness, look left, and shoot the propane tank behind the rubble near a mailbox.
  17. 17
When you reach the small wall, wait for the Point of Interest icon to appear, indicating the spotlight.
  18. 18
Head inside the building and man the spotlight at the top, which controls similarly to a Troika (heavy mounted gun). Keep the spotlight on Dom as he moves across the area.
  19. 19
Once Dom reaches the other side, equip your shotgun and head outside. Kill the two Wretches you encounter.
  20. 20
Head outside and go right towards Dom.
  21. 21
To find the Cog Tag (CT17): Point the spotlight slightly right of the small wall where Dom started before the spotlight segment. When you go outside, head left instead of right towards Dom to find the Cog Tag.
  22. 22
Meet Dom and kill any remaining enemies.
  23. 23
To the left of the burnt-out car is a doorway. Go through it and take the right door. Run to the window, shoot the propane tank, switch to your shotgun, hop out, kill nearby enemies, and take cover behind the small wall.
  24. 24
Quickly kill any enemies running towards you and throw a grenade into the hole.
  25. 25
Snipe the remaining enemies and move down the street, shooting the one propane tank as you go, until you reach the cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) that ends the chapter.

Insane Mode Notes:

  • Having the Longshot is highly recommended for Insane difficulty, making the game more manageable.
  • For the final fight where you exit the window, blind-throw a grenade around the small wall, aiming for the hole.

Dark Labyrinth (A26)

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Pick up the two large ammo boxes to your left and right (or one per person in co-op).
  2. 2
Head through the single door in the room and make a left where the light starts flickering.
  3. 3
On Casual, you can proceed into the door where the light comes on. On Insane, stay back until the light stays on to avoid a prank by the Stranded.
  4. 4
Head through this room and into the opposite hallway. Get your shotgun ready.
  5. 5
About halfway down the hallway, three Wretches will attack. Shotgun them and enter the room they came from.
  6. 6
If you have the Lancer, chainsaw the cabinet to proceed. If you have the Shotgun/Longshot combo, use a few shots on the cabinet.
Tips
  • Always prioritize taking cover behind environmental objects like walls and cars to avoid enemy fire.
  • The Longshot sniper rifle is extremely valuable, especially on higher difficulties like Insane mode.
  • Propane tanks are explosive environmental hazards that can be used to your advantage against groups of enemies.
  • Listen to NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) dialogue, such as Anya's instructions, as they can provide clues or context.
  • Conserve ammunition when possible, especially on higher difficulties, by using the most effective weapon for the situation.
  • Roadie running (sprinting while using cover mechanics) is essential for quickly repositioning and closing the distance on enemies.
  • Grenades are effective for flushing enemies out of cover or clearing rooms.
  • Be aware of your radar (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) and HUD (Heads-Up Display) for enemy positions and objective markers.
  • On Insane mode, patience and careful observation are key to survival.
  • If playing co-op, coordinate with your partner for revives and covering fire.
  • Progression to the next chapter.
  • Cog Tag CT17 (if found).
  • Ammo boxes and potentially other weapon pickups.
