Walkthrough
- 1From your starting point, take cover behind a couch to the right of your previous entrance. Wait for the blocked door to open and clear out the enemies inside, using a shotgun for close encounters.
- 2Proceed down the hallway to your right and over the rubble.
- 3When you reach the next checkpoint, take cover behind the nearest desk. Use the Lancer for medium-to-long distances and the shotgun for close range against enemies in the hallway and the room full of desks.
- 4Continue down the hallway, shooting all enemies. An ammo box is available to your right if needed.
- 5At the next checkpoint, you'll be near a hallway with a Troika. To flank it, enter the immediate right hallway.
- 6In the next room, use your shotgun to eliminate Wretches and Grunts. Proceed down the stairs at the other end of the hall, take a left, and be prepared to use your shotgun if a noticed enemy turns around.
- 7Hop on the Troika. Wretches will attack; your teammates will handle most, but be ready with your shotgun if needed.
- 8Once the Wretches stop coming, head down the hall to the right of the Troika. At the end, there's an ammo box to the right and a long hall to the left.
- 9Trek down the hall to the left, then head down the steps, past a picture, down more steps, and take cover.
- 10Proceed down the hallway to your left to flank enemies, following the usual cover and Lancer/shotgun strategy.
- 11If you flanked left, take cover behind the low wall on the first right. Head up the set of steps across from it and across the courtroom.
- 12Head up the stairs. A Locust on a Troika will be present; you can usually chainsaw him if he doesn't notice you.
- 13For the enemies on the ground, you can use the Troika, Lancer, or the Hammer of Dawn (HoD) found on a body to the right of the downed Troika Locust. Note that picking up the HoD prevents you from using your shotgun.
- 14Kill all remaining Locusts. A cutscene will play, advancing you to the next chapter. You will need to use the HoD for this short chapter as well. After that chapter, Act 2 begins, where you will find a new shotgun.
- 15Kill all enemies in the final area and watch the cutscene.
INSANE NOTES:
- Use the same strategy as the normal walkthrough.
- The flying enemies at the end can kill you in one hit, so be extremely careful. Use the Hammer of Dawn for this section.
BOSS FIGHT: BERSERKER
Stats / Weaknesses:
- Can only be killed with the Hammer of Dawn (two blasts required).
- Instantly kills if touched when running towards you; always roll out of the way.
- Attracted by noise; walking will not alert them, running will.
- Can be lured by shooting them with a pistol to draw attention.
Strategy:
- From the start, head forward and turn right to find a Cog Tag (CT10).
- Head into the other hallway. When the Berserker bursts through the wall, a checkpoint is triggered.
- Look right for a door. Lure the Berserker into this door by shooting it with a pistol until it follows.
- Roadie Run directly north of that door to the other end, turn around, and get the Berserker to run towards you.
- Jump out of the way as it approaches. It will hit the wall and tear it down.
- Head through the now-open door and lure the Berserker into the smaller room.
- Do NOT lure the Berserker into the next room yet. Go to the door.
