Alright, so you've just finished up the intro cutscenes in Grand Theft Auto III — The Definitive Edition, and you've automatically got your first mission. It's called '8-Ball Mission: Ball,' and it's a pretty straightforward one to get you warmed up. Your main goal here is to drive 8-Ball over to Hepburn Heights so he can grab some new threads. Don't stress too much, as you actually can't get a wanted level for a bit, making this a nice, relaxed start.

First things first, keep an eye on that radar in the corner of your screen. It's your best friend for figuring out directions like north, east, and so on. You'll need to hop into the Kurama that's parked nearby. Just press the Triangle button to get in. Then, hit X to drive forward and get off the bridge.

Once you reach the bottom of the bridge, make a left turn and cruise along that road for a little while. You'll eventually hit a point where you can't go much further forward. Take another left, and when you get close to some grass, make a right. Follow this road, and you'll see the pink dot on your radar getting closer and closer. That little side alley is where you need to be. Drive right into the blue marker to trigger the next part.

After you pull into the alley, you'll get a quick rundown on save points and garages – super handy stuff. Then, you'll hop back into the car. Just head around the corner to find the next blue marker, which is conveniently located at Luigi's place. Completing this will kick off your next mission, and this one actually gives you some cash!
