How to Start a Taxi Fare:

First things first, you gotta find yourself a taxi. Look for any regular Taxi, Cabbie, or even a Borgnine Taxi cruising around. Once you spot one, hop in by pressing [Y]/[Triangle]. To kick off a mission, just press Up on the D-PAD. Easy peasy.

Where to Find Taxi Fares:

Your main gig is picking up passengers. They'll show up on your radar as green squares. Once you snag a fare, your next job is to get them to their destination, marked by pink squares, as fast as you can. You've got a timer ticking, so speed is key! If you don't make it before the timer runs out, the mission ends. Also, keep an eye on your taxi's condition. If it gets too banged up, your passenger will get spooked and bail. After each fare, if your taxi needs some TLC, you'll have to take it to a Pay 'N' Spray to get it repaired before you can pick up the next customer.

You'll get little bonuses for hitting streaks of five fares, and extra cash for being super quick to drop them off. Keep that in mind!

100% Completion:

If you're aiming for that sweet 100% completion in Grand Theft Auto III, you'll need to successfully pick up and drop off a total of 100 passengers. Once you hit that milestone, a Borgnine Taxi will conveniently spawn near HEAD Radio in Harwood. Think of these taxi missions as a great way to get familiar with all the different parts of Liberty City. A good strategy is to break down those 100 fares by area: maybe 30 in Portland, 30 in Staunton Island, and 40 in Shoreside Vale. Just a heads-up, the areas in Portland can get a bit tricky later in the game, so it might be wise to tackle those fares sooner rather than later.
