    After the opening cutscene, stand up by moving the left joystick right and proceed forward.

    Continue moving forward until Gris collapses after passing through fog. She will gain the ability to jump.

    Optionally, backtrack left to where Gris first landed. Near a collapsed statue, let Gris fall and get up without touching the controller to complete the 'First Stage of Grief: Denial' challenge.

    Continue forward, ascending a giant rock. Leap over the edge to proceed.

    Approach a small pulsing light (a Star) and absorb it. This star will become a companion.

    Continue further to find a large gap. You will need more stars to bridge it.

    Climb stairs on the left to a large leaning tower. Ascend the zigzagging stairs to the top. Your two companions will form a bridge.

    Cross the bridge to a smaller tower and collect a third Star.

    Before returning, mount the first staircase of the leaning tower and jump left. Activate the symbol on the wall to collect the first Memento.

    Return to the gap. Your three companions will form a bridge. Cross it.

    Continue right until you reach a crumbling stone hand. A cutscene will play, and you will complete the 'Red - A Color Has Been Brought Back' challenge.

    Continue to a giant staircase leading to a temple. At the top, a pictogram on the back wall depicts symbols related to Mementos.

    Proceed forward until you reach a blood-red tree. Your star companions will form a constellation in the sky and leave you.

    Continue down the stairs on the other side of the red tree. Head right until you slide down a red mountain.

    On flat ground, continue right until you reach a black tower. Gris will automatically climb it, completing the prologue.
