Walkthrough

    After the opening cutscene, move Gris to the right. She will gain the ability to jump.

    Backtrack slightly to the left to find a pillar and a collapsed statue. Let Gris fall near the statue and stand up without touching the controller to complete the First Stage of Grief: Denial challenge.

    Continue moving right. Collect the first pulsing light, a Star.

    Platform across crumbling platforms to the left, then ascend a black mountain to the right. Collect a second Star.

    Continue to a large gap. To cross, you'll need more Stars.

    Climb stairs on the left to a leaning tower. Ascend the zigzagging stairs to the top. Your two Stars will form a bridge to a smaller tower where you can collect a third Star.

    Before returning to the gap, mount the first staircase of the leaning tower and jump left to find a symbol. Pass over it to collect the first Memento.

    Return to the gap and cross the bridge formed by your three Stars.

    Continue right until you reach a crumbling stone hand. A cutscene will play, and you will receive the notification Red - A Color Has Been Brought Back.

    Proceed to a giant staircase leading to a temple. At the top, a pictogram shows a leaning tower and two circular symbols.

    Continue forward to a blood-red tree. Your Star companions will leave you to form a constellation.

    Continue down the stairs and head right until you slide down a red mountain.

    On flat ground, continue right to a black tower. Gris will automatically climb it, completing the prologue.

  • There are five stages of grief to discover throughout the game, each with specific requirements.
  • Mementos are collectibles found in each chapter. The first chapter has two, with one obtainable later.
  • The Stars you collect act as companions and can form bridges to cross gaps.
  • Challenges, including color-based ones, can be viewed and tracked in the Pause Menu.
