Chapter 1: To the White Forest

The chapter begins after the Citadel Core's detonation, which derails Gordon and Alyx's train. They survive and retrieve the Gravity Gun. A portal storm emanates from the Citadel ruins, creating a path into a mine shaft. Alyx contacts the White Forest base, where Dr. Kleiner, Eli Vance, and Arne Magnusson are introduced. The main objective is to deliver the data packet, which contains information about the Combine Overworld and the superportal, to White Forest.
