Your HEV (Hazardous Environment) Suit in Half-Life 2: Episode Two provides crucial protection and powers various abilities. Its energy level, represented by suit power, is vital for survival and utilizing certain tools.

Suit Power and Its Uses:

Suit power is consumed by several actions:

• Gravity Gun Heavy Use: Launching large physics objects with the Gravity Gun drains suit power significantly.
• Environmental Hazards: Certain environments, like areas with high radiation or electrical fields, will continuously drain your suit power.
• Damage Taken: While your health bar absorbs most damage, some impacts might also drain a small amount of suit power.

Recharging Suit Power:

Suit power can be replenished through two primary methods:

• Suit Batteries: These are consumable items found throughout the game world, similar to health packs. They restore a portion of your suit power. Press the designated key (N by default on PC, D-Pad Right on Xbox 360) to use a suit battery. It's wise to save these for when you anticipate needing the Gravity Gun extensively or when facing environmental hazards.
• Suit Chargers: These are stationary devices, much like health chargers, that fully replenish your suit power. They are often found in Resistance bases or safe zones. Ensure you utilize them whenever possible, especially before engaging in areas known for suit power drain or heavy Gravity Gun usage.

Strategic Suit Power Management:

Effective management of your suit power is key. Avoid unnecessary heavy Gravity Gun use during standard combat if you have ample ammunition for your weapons. Conserve suit power for critical moments where it's essential for solving puzzles or overcoming specific combat challenges. Always try to keep your suit power at a reasonable level, especially when entering areas with known suit power draining hazards.
