The Hermit Mystery Walkthrough

Start The Hermit Mystery: From the APC in Acasa Marshes, head north past the mass grave, cross the bridge, and go northwest to the outskirts of Jova. Cross the next bridge to the northeast, stay on the road until you cross the second bridge near the pylon. Follow the road north, look east for a gap near a boulder, and take the eastern path to The Hermit’s hut. Speak to him to begin the mystery.

Find the Photo Lens: Progress the main story until you can access the Talju region. Start in the scrapyard, exit under the western bridge to the streets. Follow the road north then west to a parked tank. Take the narrow path left of the tank to the burning photo shop. Interact with the broken window to get the Key Item: Zoom Lens.

Return to The Hermit: Go back to The Hermit and give him the Zoom Lens. He will ask you to return later. Refresh the map by leaving and returning to the area, then speak to him again. Examine his photo board; one of the new photos, specifically the center one, contains the solution to the nearby Lymbic Puzzle.

Solve The Hermit’s Lymbic Puzzle: South of The Hermit’s hut, you’ll find a puzzle with four pedestals. Rotate them to match the symbols shown in the center photo from The Hermit’s board. For each pedestal, stand facing it and align the symbols as seen in the photo.

Claim The Hermit Rewards: Completing the puzzle will cause a chest to appear in the center, containing the rewards.
