Once you're back with Victor, open up your Study crafting menu. You'll need to give him the 'Tome of Lymbic Imbuing'. This is super important because it unlocks the Imbue crafting feature, which lets you convert shards into emotional shards. This will be a lifesaver for farming and upgrading weapons and gear later on.

Finally, hand over the Necklace to Victor. This will complete the Victor's Vigil Good Deed!

Don't forget to solve Vitalis's basement puzzle if you haven't already. The items you get from there are also important.
