Walkthrough

As you progress through levels, always close doors behind you.

During a crescendo event (a sudden intense attack by infected), wedge yourself in a closet or tight space with a door to take less damage.

On the roof while awaiting the helicopter, get into the stairwell in the room with the minigun.

If you have four people, split into two groups, with one group just inside each door on the top and bottom of the stairwell.

Between waves of infected, you can duck out to grab more ammo.

Tips

Closing doors behind you is imperative.
Wedges in closets or tight spaces with doors can help you take less damage during crescendo events.
Combine door strategy with melee and co-op for maximum success.
The stairwell position makes it exceedingly difficult for most infected to reach you.
Tanks can still enter the stairwell.
