Walkthrough

Locate a pillbox, which is a small room or closet with a single door. These are available in all levels except Dead Air.

Enter the pillbox to funnel infected (common infected) one at a time, as it is secure from all sides except the one you are facing.

To maximize defense, one player can crouch at the base of the door while a second player shoots over them.

This strategy is particularly effective against excessive horde rushes at the end of levels.

When the APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) arrives, a pillbox located next to the staircase door entrance in Blood Harvest offers easy access to ammo and an escape route.

Tips

Using two assault rifles with this strategy makes the end-of-level horde rushes manageable.
The minigun is generally considered a waste of time and not necessary for completing campaigns.
The pillbox in Blood Harvest is conveniently located next to the staircase door entrance and near ammo.
