Alright, let's get you through this tricky part. You'll start near what's left of a gas station. Your first goal is to get to the lift on the left. Just walk up to it and press X to call it.

Now, this is where things get dicey. As the lift starts its slow ascent, the Horde is going to come pouring down from the roof next to you. You'll need to fight them off while you're on the move. Once the lift stops, don't linger! Get off onto the roof immediately and keep the pressure on.

Your next destination is the warehouse across the way. You'll need to make your way across the roof. Look for some piping leading up to a warehouse window. Break through that window and jump inside. Be ready, though – while this is a good spot to pick off some Infected, more will come at you from a hole that opens up in the floor behind you.

Once you've cleared out that wave, drop down through the hole into the warehouse. Right away, check the first-aid station on the wall. You might find some much-needed pain pills or even a full first-aid kit. Then, head down the hallway.

This hallway is packed with side rooms, and they're usually loaded with goodies like extra weapons and supplies. The rooms on the right side are especially useful because they let you see into the storage room below. If you've got a pipe bomb, toss it down one of those aisles – it'll clear out a ton of Infected for you. Plus, you'll likely find more pipe bombs in these rooms. After you've looted all these side rooms, head down the stairs near the start of the hall to get to the main storage area.

Clear out any remaining Infected in the storage room. Be warned: I've often run into a Tank or a full-blown Horde right when I step in here, so be prepared for a tough fight. Once it's clear, make your way to the far end of the room and find the exit. Take a right and follow the stairwell down. You'll end up in a large room filled with big white tanks.

Watch out for the two manholes in the floor – Infected will be crawling out of them. If the Horde hits while you're here, split your team: two people guard each manhole. When you're ready, drop down either manhole to enter the sewers.

Tip: The Sewers

The sewers are a confusing maze, seriously. You've got tons of paths, dead ends, and even small ducts that twist and turn. Your best bet is to stick to the main paths so you don't get completely lost. The smaller passages can be useful for sneaking around enemies or making a quick getaway from the Horde, but be careful – even the Horde and Boomers can get into them!
