As soon as you gain control of the Milano, you're trying to perform a controlled crash. All you really need to do here is to press up on the analog stick to maintain altitude and move left or right to avoid the mountains. You will likely clip the wings at times, but unless you take a head on collision, you will survive. Once you've crashed the ship, take a moment to stop by Rocket's room and check out the Glarnot Mask you found earlier. It's on the dresser to the left, closest to the door. Exit the ship.

Follow the linear path down and across the ledges. At the dead end, have Drax smash through the wall. Grab the components on the ledge to the left in here. Head through and across the ledge on the left. Follow Drax up the slope and talk to him at the top if you like. Head down the other side and be prepared to fight.

These 2 large beasts fight similarly to the Slakebeasts you've fought previously. One major difference, however, is that they emit poison gas around themselves - so battle at a distance whenever possible. Since they're weak against Lightning, use this to build their stagger. Once they're staggered, use Gamora's Deadly Strike or Executioner and have Drax throw a nearby boulder. Also use prompts whenever they appear. They should be no problem.

As you're leaving the area, there's some icicles you need to go through, but if you look to the right (use the visor) you will see a wall that you can climb with Gamora's assistance. Climb up and you will find some components along with a pink crate containing a Costume: Black Vortex for Gamora. Drop back down & have Gamora slash through the icicles.

Head through and to the left a bit, then turn around. Slash the icicles here via Gamora and use the Wind shot on the crystal here. Look to the wall on the right and scan the crack with your visor. Now have Drax throw the boulder through the wall. Head across & up the ledges while grabbing components along the way. Squeeze through the opening at the top and you'll be faced with a new, slug-like enemy.

These slugs aren't too tough to deal with, but they do have a nasty habit of freezing the team. While they're weak against fire, you don't have any yet; luckily there's mines on the ground in here and that will help clear them out. Once they're dead, inspect the wall on the left side of where you entered to see a crystal you can use the Wind shot on. Crawl through the opening it creates, then have Groot build you a bridge to get across.

Here you must shimmy across the narrow ledge and into a dark cave. As soon as you enter, hug the right wall and you will find an opening leading to a pink crate containing a Costume: Five O'Clock Sprouts for Groot. Head back into the main cave area. Here you will need to block the poison gas with your Ice shot, but to do so, you must also destroy the grey, brittle debris which hides some of the holes you need to plug up. Head to the end, grab components and have Drax smash through the wall at the end.

On the other side you will be attacked by some creatures that are essentially tentacles and a mouth. If you head to the other side of the area, there's a root trap on the ground you can bait them into that will kill them all. Cross the bridge that Groot makes and immediately look up and to the right for a place that Gamora can help you climb. Climb on up and find a Collectible: Xatar's Blade along with some components.

Drop back down. Shoot the debris at the end and have Drax knock down the pillar. Head across, grab the components and follow the path. The way forward will collapse, so time your jumps to make it across and climb up and through the crawl space at the end.

On the other side, talk to Gamora to view the smoke in the distance and head down the slope on the left. You will reach a platform where a giant piece of ice flies overhead. Now head right and slide down the large slope. At the bottom, follow the linear path. The group will see a Wendigo and then an avalanche will cause them to run the opposite way. Peter will unlock the Plasma (fire) element on his guns. As per usual, move the analog sticks and hit the R1 button once in the target zone. The team will be in a cave beside the entrance to this area.

Use the Plasma shot to melt all the ice in here as you make your way towards what looks like water. Look up and you will see some ice crystals lodged in the ceiling. Shoot them down to bring the ceiling down and create a path across. Repeat this process once more to see your way out of the cave. Stop and look left. Shoot the ice on the ceiling here to get up to the ledge and find a pink crate containing a Costume: War-Lord.

Note: In my subsequent playthrough the crate did not appear for me here, despite already owning it. I have confirmed, however, that it is located here. Also, I've read that this could be a result of my linking my game to my Square-Enix account as well.

Head back down and exit the cave. Follow the path forward and you will once again see a Wendigo. Vault over the stone wall and you will be in an area with several plants that spew poison. (check your visor) Just kill these with your Plasma shot.

From the entrance, immediately turn left. Toggle the visor, locate and destroy the 3 plants and climb up here to find some components and an Archive entry: The End of My Hunt. Drop back down and this time, head directly to the right of the entrance and inspect the area on the right side to find a Collectible: Deeproot Plant. Turn around and head forward and keep to the right side of the area. You will come across a pink crate containing the Costume: The Stinger for Rocket. Continue moving forward until you're able to drop down below.

Once you get down here, 2 Wendigo will appear and attack you. Not unlike previous monsters you've faced before, these big guys have a lot of health, they toss boulders and charge at you to cause the majority of their damage. Last second dod
