Alright, so after a bit of a rough patch on the Milano, Adam Warlock is gonna do his thing and turn into Magus. Don't freak out, this isn't a traditional boss fight, even though he looks pretty menacing. It's actually a pretty straightforward sequence to wrap things up.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Talk smack: First things first, you need to get under Magus's skin. When you get the dialogue options, pick the most annoying, irritating ones you can find. Seriously, go for the jugular with your words.
  2. 2
Run to the shield: Magus will then spawn Nikki's shield. Your job is to get to it. Don't worry too much if you mess up here; the game will just respawn you right back in the same spot, so you've got a few tries if needed.
  3. 3
Clear the fodder: While you're running to safety, Magus will summon some low-level goons and those annoying tadpole creatures you've seen before. Just take them out. They're pretty basic.
  4. 4
Dodge the meteors: As you're dealing with the adds, Magus will also start calling down meteors. They're not as relentless as some other bosses you've fought, but you'll still need to keep an eye out and dodge them. While no specific element is a super-weakness here, using your chain lightning ability is a great way to clear out groups of enemies quickly.

You'll repeat this whole cycle – smack-talk, run to the shield, kill fodder, dodge meteors – a few times. Once you've done that enough, the team will need to use the stone to subdue him. This kicks off a quick QTE (Quick Time Event) mini-game. You'll need to hit the prompts at the right time to pass the gem to Peter. After that, you'll have a button-mashing segment – just mash Triangle when it tells you to – and that's it! The struggle will end, some cutscenes will play, and you'll have officially finished the game.

Tips
  • Don't stress about the QTEs or the button mashing too much; they're designed to be pretty forgiving.
  • Focus on clearing the adds quickly so you can focus on dodging the meteors.
  • Chain lightning is your best friend for crowd control in this sequence.
