Chapter 7: Specific Gravity (Phendrana Drifts)

From Phendrana Drifts, return to the Quarantine Cave and use the Spider Ball (Spider Tracks) to access the alternate exit.

Proceed through South Quarantine Tunnel, avoiding Pulse Bombus.

Take the Transport to Magmoor Caverns South.

In Magmoor Caverns, take the Transport to Phendrana Drifts South.

Navigate Transport Tunnel C, minding the flame jets (which can be temporarily stopped with the Ice Beam).

In Magmoor Workstation, defeat the Flying Pirates. Use your Thermal Visor to locate three power conduits. Activate each conduit with your Wave Beam.

Drop into the hole and defeat the Triclopses. Proceed to the area where the lava has cooled.

Scan the console to open another hatch and cool more lava. Quickly move to the newly cooled area.

Scan another console to open the final hatch. Quickly roll to this location to obtain ENERGY TANK (8/14).

Return to the Transport to Phendrana Drifts South.

Take the Transport to Magmoor Caverns South.

Immediately turn around and ascend the Spider Ball Track to the other door.

In Transport Access, destroy the Pulse Bombu and continue.

In Frozen Pike, navigate the chamber with Flickerbats. The correct door is two up from the bottom, across from your starting point. (The door to your right leads back to the Research Station).

In Frost Cave Access, deal with Ice Beetles and Scarabs.

In Frost Cave, scan the Hunter Metroid and Glider. Shoot a hanging stalactite with a Missile, jump onto it, and proceed through the purple door to find a Save Station. Shoot another stalactite to reach the next purple door.

Traverse the Upper Edge Tunnel.

In Phendrana's Edge, scan the Jelzap. Shoot down the two Flying Pirates. Drop into the water, avoid the Jelzaps, and proceed through the door.

In Lower Edge Tunnel, destroy the Scatter Bombus.

In Hunter Cave, defeat the Jelzap and Flickerbats in the water. Shoot down all three stalactites. Cross the two in the water, and use the third to reach the purple door.

In Lake Tunnel, destroy the Scatter Bombu.

In Gravity Chamber, scan the Aqua Reaper. Avoid the Aqua Reapers and Jelzaps as you make your way across the water to obtain the GRAVITY SUIT.

Exit the water and proceed through the purple door not in the water.

In Chamber Access, destroy the Sentry Drone.

In Hunter Cave, either defeat the Flying Pirates or run along the ledge to the other door.

In Hunter Cave Access, destroy the three Jelzaps in the water.

Return to Frozen Pike. Climb out of the water, avoid Flying Pirates, and ascend by walking around the outer edge.

Your next destination is the Frigate Crash Site on the Overworld. To get there, take the Phendrana Drifts North Transport down to Magmoor Caverns, then take the Transport to Tallon Overworld West.
