Alright, so you've just finished a match in MultiVersus and you want to give someone a little shout-out, right? That's what toasting is all about! It's a cool way to show some appreciation for a teammate or even a good opponent. Here's the lowdown on how to do it and how to make sure you've always got toasts to give.

How to Give a Toast:

Once the game wraps up, you'll see a results screen. Look above the character info cards – you should spot a button that says “Give Toast +1” with a little bread icon next to it. Just click that, and boom, you've sent a toast! Each toast you give costs you one from your inventory, but it also gives the player you toast 20 Gold. Plus, if you've got a daily challenge to toast someone, this is how you knock that out.

Getting Toasted Back:

Sometimes, if someone toasts you, you'll get a notification pop-up. This notification usually has an orange button that lets you toast them right back, using up one of your own toasts in the process. It's a neat little back-and-forth!

Checking Your Toast Count:

Before you go around toasting everyone, make sure you actually have toasts available. On that same end-game screen, you'll see a number next to the toast icon. That number tells you exactly how many toasts you have left to give out.

How to Get More Toast:

So, what if you're running low? Don't sweat it, there are a few ways to stock up:

• Buying with Gold: You can head to your collection or the end-game screen and buy toasts. It costs 350 Gold for ten toasts, which works out to 35 Gold per toast.
• Free Toasts:
  • Every time you hit level three on a character, you get five toasts.
  • You can also snag five toasts from the free tier of the Battle Pass.
  • And if you're rocking the premium Battle Pass, you can get ten toasts from there.

Should You Buy Toast?

Honestly, we don't really recommend spending your hard-earned Gold on toasts. Since it costs 35 Gold to give someone 20 Gold, it's not the best deal. It's way better to save your Gold for other things and just use the toasts you get for free from leveling characters or the Battle Pass. Keep 'em handy for when you get a daily mission or just want to give a friendly nod to a player who impressed you in a match.
