In MultiVersus, Wonder Woman is the only character you start with for free after completing the tutorial mission. It's highly recommended to finish the tutorial to ensure you always have a reliable character to play.

Beyond the tutorial character, you'll rely on the free character rotation, which updates every two weeks. This rotation allows players to try out different characters and discover their preferred playstyle. When you accumulate your first 2000 gold, you can afford to purchase a non-expert character. Many of these characters are beginner-friendly, while others are more advanced. For new players looking to learn the game, the following characters are excellent choices to buy:

These four characters are recommended because they are generally easy to pick up and perform well with. They feature straightforward skills, combos, and are relatively safe to use. Additionally, they possess decent knockout potential.
