    Level 2/3 Asylum:
    1. Find the first holy item/secret area above the front door by quick-jumping up protruding bricks and then around a window-ledge.

    Collect armour from the dry fountain and head for the checkpoint.

    Locate the second secret area on top of the tent-like structure near the checkpoint. Lean a lamppost against the roof corner and quick-jump up it to reach super-health.

    Proceed through the underground passage (Checkpoint 1), ignoring ghosts, and head for the ladder and stairs to the next checkpoint.

    At Checkpoint 2, touch the pentangle to spawn amputees in corner rooms. Use the Painkiller's warhead and avoid ghosts. Defeating the last amputee releases a freak. A previously blocked door will open later revealing holy items and a secret area.

    Jump up the bookcase in the small room to reach the stairs. Be cautious of a gap in the stairs, then use the ladder to reach the next checkpoint.

    At Checkpoint 3, collect ammo (if needed) and return to the previous checkpoint.

    At Checkpoint 4, clear freaks and amputees from the corner rooms.

    At Checkpoint 5, eliminate amputees from above the hole in the floor before dropping down. Fight more freaks and amputees, some on the ceiling. Be aware that freaks can now detonate their heads for close-range damage.

    Clear all rooms on the upper floor, then descend and clear the lower floor rooms. The directional arrow may be broken; ensure all rooms are cleared to open all doors.

    Secret 3: Before exiting, go to the third floor stairwell to access the previously locked secret area containing two holy items.

    Collect the Gold Tarot Card: Fury.
  • Level 2/4 Snowy Bridge:
    1. Turn around and go up the hill to access side ledges. Collect ammo packs and defeat dark ninjas with stakes or grenades. Pick up freeze ammo and drop down to the pipe for armour.
    2. Head left and under a gap for three mega ammo packs in a secret area. Find more stakegun ammo beside the pipe, and heavy armour and ammo at the far end. Avoid picking up heavy armour if you just got the small armour from the pipe.
    3. Return to the staircase and jump onto the pipe again, dropping down to the other side to reach Checkpoint 1. Do not proceed past the stairs before hitting this checkpoint.
    4. Tarot Condition: 1 Secret Area Found.
    5. At Checkpoint 1, fight ninjas in the narrow area using barrels and shotgun blasts. Collect more shotgun ammo under the stairs.
    6. Head up the stairs, shoot barrels to kill approaching ninjas. Defeat the last ninjas at the top of the stairs to open doors and reveal Checkpoint 2.
    7. At Checkpoint 2, acquire the electrodriver.

    • For the Asylum level, the gold tarot card condition is to finish using only the Painkiller weapon.
