Walkthrough

    In the side room, climb the ladder on the opposite half of the square from the pillar with the super-health pickup. Get launched from the top, turn right in mid-air to land on the last ledge on the right. Immediately jump outwards to the right towards the jagged stone ledge. Jump across to the middle pavilion roof, then to the super-health and the secret area.

    Proceed to the next checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).

    At checkpoint 4, collect bones and electro ammo.

    At checkpoint 5, in the outdoor area with bones and templars, use the freezer on grouped bones and rockets for large groups. Use the stakegun for templars on high ledges. Shoot nearby fireworks and barrels to bring down pillared ledges.

    SECRET 3: To get the holy item above, go to the back left corner (farthest from the new checkpoint). Quick-jump from the corner onto the bouncing square to be launched to the upper ledge. Jump onto the barrel, then up, and run around the narrow ledge to reach the first relic and secret area.

    Proceed to checkpoint 6.

    In the throne room, use side corridors to group enemies. Use electrobursts or drivers on warriors and electro on templars. Pick up the quad damage if needed. The next checkpoint appears after the last monster is dead.

    Run up the stairs and eliminate enemies. Head into the upper circular corridors and use the chaingun or electrodriver on warriors and bones. Watch your back, and a Morph will help.

    SECRET 4: After the last minion dies and the exit opens, check the newly-opened door in the long top hallway between the spiral staircases. This secret area contains three chests full of coins and the second holy item.

    As you approach the exit, it disappears. Four Giant Templars will appear. Run into one of the raised hallways on either side of the room and use rockets to defeat them as they cannot fit through the door.

    With the giants defeated, the real exit will appear.

Level 4/3 BABEL Walkthrough:

  1. Before doing anything, look directly ahead and up at the disguised holy item shining in the ceiling above and beyond the doorway. Get this later.
  2. Collect all available ammo, avoiding the health pickup in the middle: Chaingun (3) in the back left corner; Grenade (2) to the right of the stakegun ammo; Grenade (3) in the back right corner; Shotgun (3) to the left of the starting point; Stakegun (3) around the corner from the barrels right of the starting point.
  3. Collect warriors into groups and kill them with rockets or grenades. Pick off the two sniping templars by shooting the barrels beside them.
  4. When you try to pick up the quad damage and health, templars and executioners will appear. Use available weapons as freezer ammo is not present.
  5. After they are gone, stairs to either side open, revealing more templars and an executioner. Ensure all ammo boxes are collected before climbing the stairs to the next checkpoint.
  6. From here, quick-jump off the roof to reach a health pickup. Collect the first two holy items.
  7. SECRET 1: Stand facing the doorway at the upper checkpoint. Go along the left half of the roof. Facing the back wall where you started, stand at the far end of the broken roof and drop through the hole onto the sloped, broken wall below (hold forward while falling). Turn right when you land on this wall and jump to the first dark arch. Jump onto the beam and quick-jump into the light to get the first relic in the first secret area.
Tips
  • Use the freezer for grouped bones and rockets for large groups in the outdoor area.
  • Shoot fireworks and barrels to bring down ledges.
  • Use side corridors to group enemies in the throne room.
  • The quad damage is best used in the throne room.
  • Watch your back in the upper circular corridors.
  • Giant Templars are too large to fit through the raised hallways, making them an easy target.
  • Collect all ammo in Level 4/3 BABEL to unlock the Vitality Tarot Card.
