First Floor (Right Side): Start from the rightmost room. A Gentleman has two Level 18 Growlithes. The next room to the left contains a helpful lady who will heal your Pokemon. In the following room, a Gentleman will challenge you with a Level 19 Nidoran (Male and Female). The next two rooms have no trainers or items, but you can talk to a Wigglytuff. After these rooms, you'll find a room with three people: a Lass with a Level 18 Pidgey and Nidoran Female, a Youngster with a Level 21 Nidoran Male, and a third person who does nothing. Here, you can obtain TM31 (Brick Break). The next room contains an undercover agent. After this, head left and down, avoiding the staircase.

First Floor (Kitchen/Lower Area): In the kitchen area, search the third garbage can from the right for a Berry. You can also find a Great Ball here.

Second Floor (Right Side): Go back up and head all the way to the right, then descend the staircase. In the garbage can near the stairs, you'll find a Hyper Potion. The first room contains a Machoke and a Super Potion. Move to the next room to battle two Sailors: the closer one has a Level 21 Shellder, and the farther one has a Level 18 Horsea, Shellder, and Tentacool. In the next room, another Sailor challenges you with three Level 17 Horseas. Grab the Potion in this room. In the second to last door, a Sailor has a Level 18 Tentacool and Staryu. Behind him is TM44 (Rest). The final room on this floor has two trainers: a Fisherman with a Level 17 Tentacool, Staryu, and Shellder, and a Sailor with a Level 20 Machop.

Third Floor (Left Side): Go up three floors from the basement. Head left. A bald man will not battle you. Continue left to find a Sailor with a Level 17 Machop and Tentacool. Go further left to battle another Sailor with a Level 18 Machop and Shellder.

Fourth Floor (Last Floor): Return to the previous floor (the last one). In the first room to the left, talk to a man to receive a picture of Snorlax in your Pokedex. In the next room, battle a Fisherman with two Level 17 Goldeens and a Tentacool. Afterward, a Gentleman has a Level 23 Pikachu. Collect the Stardust after this battle. The next room is empty. In the room after that, a Lass has a Level 18 Rattata and Pikachu, and a Gentleman has a Level 17 Growlithe and Ponyta. Explore the last two doors, but heal your Pokemon before proceeding.

Rival Battle 4: Prepare for a battle against your rival.

If you chose Bulbasaur: Pidgeotto (LV 19), Raticate (LV 16), Kadabra (LV 18), Ivysaur (LV 20).

If you chose Charmander: Pidgeotto (LV 19), Raticate (LV 16), Kadabra (LV 18), Charmeleon (LV 20).

If you chose Squirtle: Pidgeotto (LV 19), Raticate (LV 16), Kadabra (LV 18), Wartortle (LV 20).

After defeating your rival, head up the staircase into the Captain's chamber.
