Walkthrough

    Use the elevator to reach the 5th Floor.

    Go to the far left and battle the Scientist with a Level 26 Magneton, Magnemite, Weezing, and Koffing.

    Go all the way down and battle the Rocket holding a Level 33 Arbok.

    Go past the Rocket (or use a teleporter and return if blocked) and to the right to obtain the Card Key.

    Prepare for Rival Battle 6. Your rival will have a Pidgeot (LV 37), Gyarados (LV 38/35), Growlithe (LV 35)/Exeggcute (LV 38/35), Alakazam (LV 35), and either Venusaur (LV 40), Charizard (LV 40), or Blastoise (LV 40) depending on your starter.

    After defeating your rival, talk to the man in the room to receive a free Lapras.

    Take the teleporter to Floor 11, which provides access to Giovanni.

    Defeat his bodyguard holding a Level 32 Cubone, Marowak, and Drowzee.

    Before unlocking Giovanni's door, collect the hidden Revive to the right.

    Prepare for Giovanni Battle 2. Giovanni's Pokemon are Nidorino (LV 37), Rhyhorn (LV 37), Kangaskhan (LV 35), and Nidoqueen (LV 41).
