Hire the Bard & Change Music

Learn how to hire the Bard in Rustler and change the music he plays. Follow the simple steps to add musical flair to your medieval adventures.

Objective: Hire the bard and change the music he plays.

After rescuing him, the bard will be available to hire. Approach him and press E. You'll be given an option to hire him for a small fee. Once hired, he will follow you around. To change the music, simply press the designated 'Bard Music' key (usually Z on PC). This will cycle through the available tracks.

The bard is more than just a musical companion; he's a mobile soundtrack. While he doesn't offer direct combat support, his presence adds to the game's unique charm. This mission teaches you how to utilize this unique feature, which can make your travels more enjoyable. The mission concludes once you've successfully hired him and changed the music at least once.
