Deliver the Horse to Buddy

Follow this Rustler guide to easily deliver the stolen horse to Buddy, navigating potential guard encounters and using your mount effectively.

Objective: Bring the stolen horse back to Buddy.

Once you've successfully stolen the horse, a new marker will appear on your mini-map, indicating Buddy's location. Ride the horse towards him. You might encounter a few guards if you still have a wanted level. You can try to outrun them or dismount and fight them if you feel confident. For this early mission, running is usually the safer bet.

Upon reaching Buddy, dismount the horse by pressing E. A short cutscene will play, and the mission will be completed. You'll receive a small amount of gold as a reward, which you can use to buy basic weapons or health items. This mission teaches you the fundamental loop of stealing and delivering, which will be a recurring theme in Rustler.
