Walkthrough

    Head back into the Festering Banquet's first area and go through the previously locked door on the right.

    Immediately upon exiting the tower, speak to the NPC (let's call him the Questing Knight) and accept his quest by choosing "Yes" to his second selection. Exhaust his dialogue until he repeats himself to ensure you do not miss the Wise Words trophy (Part 1).

    Continue past the Knight and jump up to collect the Black Pearl.

    Drop down and go right, then drop again to collect the Woodsman's Axe, Cotton Tunic, and Cotton Trousers.

    Drop down once more and proceed right to the end of the area.

    On the ledge above you, collect the Pitchfork and Pouch of Salt.

    While on this ledge, move right against the wall and press the Circle button to reveal a hidden door, which acts as a shortcut for later.

    Jump up one more time from the ledge and head right into the next screen, which is a new Sanctuary.
Tips
  • Make sure you accept the Questing Knight's quest and exhaust his dialogue. Failing to do so may prevent him from appearing in later areas, locking you out of the Wise Words trophy for this playthrough.
  • The hidden door you reveal leads to a gate locked by a lever that you cannot access at this time.
