Super Mario Galaxy 2 Part 11 walkthrough covering Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor, Beat Block Galaxy, and Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet.
Walkthrough
- 1In Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor, change to Luigi if desired. Ride the red carpet forward, carefully avoiding Boos. Use the bonus portal in the safe area if you wish. Go past the sign, avoiding the giant Boo. Turn to face it to stall if needed. Reach the Launch Star.
- 2Hit the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag (checkpoint). Wait for the moving platform. Avoid smaller Boos. Head across the next moving platforms to the Sling Star.
- 3Hit the second Checkpoint Flag. Head up and over gaps, avoiding Boos. Use long jumps to get ahead, watching for floor holes. Face the giant Boo before heading down on moving platforms. Do not turn around on the moving platforms. Jump to the green disappearing tiles to nab the Star.
- 4Head right to the Hungry Luma and take it back to the ship. You need 1000 Star Bits; revisit Star Bit-heavy galaxies if you don't have enough.
- 5In Beat Block Galaxy, head forward, then left, using blocks to cross. The green and yellow blocks switch off on the 4th clang of the music's beat.
- 6The Comet Medal is in the top left corner on a yellow block. Head right and up to the Checkpoint Flag, then long jump across the next stretch.
- 7Collect Silver Stars: (1) is ahead on a yellow block. Head left to (2) on a purple (safe) block. Go up into the top left for (3). Head to the top right for (4) on a yellow block. Go down in the bottom right corner for (5) on a purple (safe) block. The blocks freeze in place. Climb them to the Star atop the tower.
- 8A letter will arrive from Jibberjay.
- 9Head back to World 2 and re-enter Wild Glide Galaxy for the Jungle Fluzzard Race. Approach a little bird and agree to race. Nosedive to gain speed. Bank right after a wall, then go straight, diving occasionally. Head through the left hole in the wall for a 1-Up. Bank left by the waterfall, then straight and down over water to the cavern. Avoid the icy bar structure, go straight between hills through a yellow archway to finish. Come in 1st to win the Star. High Score: 1:05.36.
- 10A Jibberjay will join you on the ship.
- 11Head to the beginning of the World 3 map and take the pipe to reach the dungeon.
- 12In Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet, cross yellow disappearing platforms quickly and head right to get Yoshi. Use Yoshi's tongue to grab a Bullet Bill and fire it at the glass barrier.
- 13Head up and spin at the lever on the left to ride the yellow platform right. Fire Bullet Bills away from you to destroy others or mines.
- 14At the far right, spin the lever and ride the yellow platform up. Grab a Bullet Bill and smash the next glass barrier.
- 15Hit the Checkpoint Flag and race by Bullet Bills. Defeat the Hammer Bro. Use a Bullet Bill behind you to destroy the statue ahead for a 1-Up. Swing left on the flowers. Grab a Bullet Bill and destroy the glass globe over the lever. Spin the lever and ride the yellow platform up.
- 16Jump on the fighter ship barrel, then get back on the yellow platform. Get the Life Mushroom on the 2nd ship and stay on it. Defeat the Hammer Bro. Get the Comet Medal on the left. Wait for a yellow platform to ride.
- 17Use a Bullet Bill to destroy the glass dome ahead. Hit the Checkpoint Flag. Use the Luma Shop if needed. Use the Launch Star to reach Megahammer.
- 18To defeat Megahammer, grab a Bullet Bill and fire it at a blue glass dome (2x per dome). Use the Sling Star to reach the back with a big blue glass dome. Fire a Bullet Bill at it, jumping over pink electric beams. Use the Sling Star again. Hit the back 2x for the second phase, aiming for the clear glass dome on top.
- 19Jump over 2 slams of electricity, then fire a Bullet Bill at the dome when Bowser Jr. is idle (2 hits). Win a Grand Star. Use the Sling Star to reach it.
- 20A new portal to World 4 opens. Ignore the Hungry Luma on the World Map who wants 1200 Star Bits for now.
Tips
- In Sneaking Down the Creepy Corridor, turning to face the giant Boo can stall it if you need a moment.
- In Beat Block Galaxy, the purple blocks are safe.
- In Jungle Fluzzard Race, don't worry about your placement initially, as you will come through in the end.
- In Bowser Jr.'s Mighty Megahammer, use the Luma Shop if needed, though you should still have a Life Mushroom intact.
