Part 3

In Sky Station Galaxy, use the Launch Star to reach a Checkpoint Flag. Avoid muddy pits and ride the rotating platform for a 1-Up. Spin the crystal for another 1-Up. Ride the second rotating piece to get the Comet Medal. Long jump over quicksand and up to a Luma's Launch Star.

In the new area, grab the Life Mushroom to increase your health to 6. Hit the Checkpoint Flag and ascend the planet. Go around the middle platform for a 1-Up, then use the Launch Star to face your first boss.

Boss Fight: Avoid the boss's front end and spin its egg to reveal a red balloon bottom. After three spins, the boss restarts faster. Continue spinning the backside to earn the star.

You'll arrive on a planet and meet a purple creature. Choose option 2 twice, and the planet transforms into a ship resembling Luigi. Explore briefly; more will come later. At the top, use the wheel and pedal to reach the World Map, showing progress.

Return to Sky Station Galaxy for "Storming the Sky Fleet."

In the new area, use the green pipe to reach the second section with treasure chests. Spin the green bulbs to defeat enemies and open a chest with a Rainbow Star, which destroys enemies faster and reveals a key to free a Luma. Use its Launch Star.

Walk upwards, avoiding Banzai Bills, then right to an opening. Drop through to a Checkpoint Flag, then right and down. Drop onto a platform, grab the 1-Up on the left, and backtrack. Use moving platforms, cross energy balls, and defeat enemies. Use another moving platform to reach another enemy. Backflip to a bonus portal (optional, for 3 1-Ups). Ride a platform to a Launch Star between two energy balls, timing your jump, then hit the Checkpoint Flag.

Step on blue tiles to turn them yellow (a safe pattern is up 2, right 1, up 1, left, up, then jump left and down). Get the 1-Up behind a Banzai Bill. Head left to another set of tiles with a clone. Follow the path right, then up and left, around to the end. Use the Launch Star and Checkpoint Flag. Avoid a Banzai Bill, long jump over mud, and ascend to a trapped star. Go left past a bulb to a spiked piranha. Spin the bulb to get a key, freeing the star. Backtrack, using hiding spots to avoid the Banzai Bill, and head right to the star.

Return to the World Map and proceed to Yoshi Star Galaxy.

Yoshi Star Galaxy - "Saddle Up With Yoshi": Head up and over mud, using the left ramp to avoid enemies. Use a springboard to meet a Magikoopa. Step on stones to avoid mud and stomp the Magikoopa to free a Yoshi egg. Jump on the egg to hatch Yoshi. Ride Yoshi to the green hill on the left and use the springboard, then float with A to reach the Comet Medal at the peak.

Head up the right side through muddy parts and a dead end, using the bonus portal if desired. Grab the large fruit with Yoshi's tongue and pull back on the Control Stick to get the Launch Star, then the Checkpoint Flag.

Spin the Chance Cube to reveal coins, a 1-Up, or an enemy. Find and use the Launch Star to reach a large planet. Use a springboard against the mountain to ascend. At the spiky plants, jump and float over them with Yoshi. Head around to the steps, then to more spiky plants and a springboard. At the peak, defeat all enemies.

Aim and press B to swing from airborne flowers to reach the next planet and a Launch Star. Use the Checkpoint Flag. Use swinging flowers and float for insurance. Target and pull the handle to reveal a platform. Head along, then left. Swing on a flower and float upwards to collect coins above. If you lose Yoshi, check the nearby nest. Use a flower to reach the next top level. Use moving platforms, spinning at spiders. Pull the handle on a platform to get a 1-Up. Swing on flowers up and left to the next platform.

Use the left flower, then a series of them going up. Go right to the crystal with the star. Spin twice to get it, but it's a trick. Swing on the flowers, starting with the closest, then float up to the star.

New galaxies open up, and Yoshi is stationed on your ship. You can find Yoshi on the ship's nose. Swing right on flowers to a platform with Star Bits and a 1-Up. Yoshi cannot enter galaxies with you from here.

Return to Yoshi Star Galaxy for "Spiny Control."

Yoshi Star Galaxy - "Spiny Control": Jump over Spinies to reach Yoshi from an egg. Head upwards to the top level where a Lakitu is. You can defeat it with a Spiny using Yoshi's tongue.
