Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Battle

   Gnome fights like other summon spirits you've encountered. The key here is to build up your Unison Attack gauge and unleash it as soon as it's full. Gnome is quite large, making it an easy target for combos. Keep an eye on its spellcasting animations.

Strategy:

• Unison Attacks: These are your best friend in this fight. As soon as the Unison Attack gauge fills, use it to deal massive damage and interrupt Gnome's actions.
• Dodging Spells: Gnome has some dangerous spells. Watch out for Ground Dasher; when you see it casting, immediately run and jump to avoid the shockwave. Stalagmite is another spell to be wary of.
• Body Slam Recovery: If Gnome uses its Body Slam attack, you'll be knocked into the air. Quickly press the [X] button to recover mid-air and avoid taking extra damage.
• General Combat: Beyond its special attacks, Gnome behaves similarly to Efreet. Focus on consistent damage and managing your resources.

After the Battle:

Once Gnome is defeated, a scene will play where Sylph appears, severing the mana flow (this only happens if you have Sylph). Sheena will learn the powerful techs 'T. Seal: Earth' and 'Summon: Earth'. You'll also receive the item 'Ruby'. After this, exit the Temple of Earth.

Your next destination is Flanoir, located at the northern tip of the large white continent in the northeastern part of the world map.
